We love everything about the Afton but especially room 116 with the terrace and the bathroom with huge bath!

Location was perfect, right next to the pier and beach. Not far from the station.
Very loud at night outside, so couldn’t sleep with window open which made it very stuffy. Room was next to the lift which was very noisy.

A fairly pleasant stay with very basic amenities and services.
Great location. Very close to seafront and just off Terminus road where all the shops and restaurants are located. A good place for someone who just wants a clean place to sleep and will spend most of their waking hours outside.
Not a dislike, nor a problem for me, but the place is a little careworn and could do with a renovation. Place is comfortable and not shabby at all - just very well used! Somebody with higher expectations might think otherwise though.
