Friends birthday visted the pub the staff was very friendly the food was excellent and have sky sports on so you can watch live football

We wanted somewhere to eat lunch and watch the England vs. Ireland rugby match. I found this pub on the Sky website and decided to give it a go. There were plenty of screens for us to watch and we didn't have any trouble getting a table. The staff were happy, polite and efficient, the food was served promptly and was really good value for money - good old ham, egg and chips done really well. I would definitely go back.

I was with my partner and dog and wanted some were eat. This was the only dog friendly place. It is a realy cosy English pub with sports bar. The service was good staff were helpful and had some fantastic specials. The portions were good sized and not over priced. Have been back a few times. I would recommend it to anyone in the area.

Great night out with good food, proper beer, great service by the staff, good atmosphere and I even enjoyed the Karioke! Certainly beats the hotel restaurant.

Lovely atmosphere, great food, with good vegetarian options. I would definitely recommend the vegetarian platter. The portions are very generous and it was nice to be able to bring dogs into the restaurant area. We were also asked if the dogs would like a bowl of water which was nice.

Nice pub friendly staff but the food was awful, I not sure how a chef can get a cheese toastie so wrong, burned ? And pimms was on offer on the blackboard outside but the bar man said he had no fruit and pimms was out of season annoyed
