The Burlington Hotel is a grade listed building. The staff that I interacted with were very welcoming and very helpful. Really appreciated the staff, even the maintenance guys, room attendants in the hallway were friendly. The ballroom, dining room and bar looked well presented and spacious.
I had several opportunities of riding in an elevator basically built for one with luggage or two people without luggage. It was one of the most interesting and coolest thing I've ever seen.
There's character and charm at The Burlington Hotel that has history. I would love to see the establishment improve in areas of the hotel to keep this iconic hotel thriving.
While the room was clean, there were areas where there was dust on the nightstand, fan and other areas.
Would I stay again? Probably, if the room was right and improvements were made as above.

The hotel is right on the seafront and about as close to the pier as you can get, where in my very well appointed ensuite room, I had the most relaxing break

Stayed here for one night with my husband. Just needed a bed for the night that wasn't too expensive. Hotel itself a little tired, as were the rooms, but perfectly adequate for the amount we paid. Nice clean bed linen and towels, comfy bed and pillows - which is all we wanted really. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.

The location is great and the staff was very friendly, but the hotel itself is pretty rundown. My room had a smell of old fish, wallpaper cracking up from the wall, a patch on the bedding and the carpet was rather unpleasant to walk on barefoot. The lifts were really small and did not feel safe. It was a good price for the location though.

An old hodel but quite well run . The staff are pleasant and the meals are well prepared.It is probablyadifficult job to keep on top of things maintenance wise but they are doing a good job.
