Slightly strange place in a central location. No breakfast on Saturday (Chef's day off!). Card payment fine but had to pay cash for parking coupons. Rooms a bit poky but clean. Light switches which come on as you go down a corridor but 1.5 seconds too late. Wifi only in the lounge which in this day and age is a bit poor IMO

Pleasant staff, great location and reasonably priced. Rooms were clean and sufficient for my needs as a business traveler and perhaps what I should expect from two star hotel.
A slight negative in that my TV wouldn't switch on which I solved by asking for some new batteries for the controller at reception. This was taken care of straight away and these things happen.
One thing that does need addressing is the shower and the plumbing. My shower wasn't any where near powerful enough and this might be due to the shower head needing replacing or the water pressure to that room not being good enough. This was raised at reception and maintenance were due to visit but that didn't happen. The water in the shower tray also took a good while to drain away so the hotel do need to take a look at the plumbing. I think I was in room 312.
Other than that a good experience and I would stay there again for the next phase of my business trip this year.

A reasonably priced hotel, right on Eastbourne's seafront. The staff were extremely helpful and my room although small (single) was clean and adequate for my needs. Parking is an Issue here, especially on hot busy days. Pretty much everywhere is either pay or permit required. The hotel does sell day parking permits for £2 which is significantly cheaper. Also read the parking signs carefully as parking is free after certain times. Another thing to be aware of, there can be a lot of noise from the nearby seafront road on weekend due to boy racers in their noisy cars. Ask for a room at the rear of the building or ensure you have earplugs if you are a light sleeper!
Those issues aside, this is great hotel for a short seaside break!

Okay so....
The room was okay... The beds were immaculate... Bedding was super clean and good quality cotton... And honestly I slept like a log... (I haven't done for a long time) the bathroom was clean and had everything you needed....
Now the not so good bit....
The carpet was absolutely disgusting I have never seen so much filth in beaded into one place before.. It was crusty and had what looked like years of build up all round the edges... Luckily we had slippers we could put on after our showers...
Also lastly we think the people who were staying in the room above us were practicing for the Roller Derby down the road.. But that's not the hotel's fault 🤪

You get what you pay for for a beachfront hotel. Beds not comfortable but the hotel was kept clean. Disappointed by the lack of WiFi in rooms, only available in the lobby, the website is misleading on this. No parking at the hotel but a multi storey is a short walk away.

Absolutely perfect if h9you can get a sea view room, other than that it is perfectly located footsteps away from the beach and 5 minutes walk into the town centre with lots of late night supermarkets and restaurants very close by. Basic but adequate rooms, cleaners work hard all day every day and the reception staff couldn't be more helpful if they tried. Great budget hotel if you are looking for a cheap getaway. Shop about for the price too.. I found Expedia to be the best 🌟

The rooms are very basic with ill fitted windows and a pathetic shower. Beds were comfortable enough and there was tea and coffee in the rooms. About what you expect for £35 a night. The staff made up for the mediocre rooms. Very friendly and the beat full breakfast I've had in an age! Parking is limited in the roads around the hotel and you can buy a permit for £1 from the hotel. Again staff very helpful about this

Fairly cheap and cheerful in an excellent location. Dreadful shower though (very poor pressure) and our room was extremely dated decor wise with very thin walls. Friendly staff, so overall a positive experience but could have been slightly better.

Lovely position right by the pier. Room was big enough for the three of us to be comfortable. Staff were very helpful even if the lady at breakfast was rushed off her feet, she did well to keep up. We did end up waiting for the lift a couple of times but that was breakfast time and we were in the basement breakfast room. The cost was amazingly cheap and we expected the hotel to be so too but it was a very pleasant surprise and we enjoyed our stay very much.
