Have stayed at the Afton a few times now. It's always clean and tidy. The staff are incredibly helpful, and the location of the hotel is brilliant. The pier is right in front, and the town centre is just behind it.

Great stay, great value for money.
Great friendly and helpful staff easy check in, very nice large room, great location, opposite the pier ,near restaurants, bars,city centre, the hotel itself could do with a bit of TLC, but did not affect our stay,the heating in our room didn't work,but once we reported it it was fixed within 15minutes,I would recommend it to anyone great value for money.

Fun entertainment. Friendly staff. Cozy room lighting.
Lumpy old mattress. Absolutely minimal water pressure in showers. No charging plug by bedside head area.
