A good break by the sea.
Lovely location, big room, clean bedding, friendly staff, lovely sea and pier view, high ceilings.
Evening meal could have been better, there were far more beans than meat in the chilli con carne, noise during night outside (not hotels fault), water leaking from shower onto floor with no seal to keep it in, windows in poor state in bathroom ensuite. Drinks expensive.

We enjoyed it overall and the only issue we had was that we couldn't use the TV throughout our stay and it was showing some connection error.

Great dog friendly hotel
This is a great dog friendly hotel. This is the second time we have stayed in Eastborne and the first time in this hotel. The rooms were clean and staff were very helpful and informative. Other guests were also very lovely providing our two dogs with extra strokes as they walked down the corridor on the way for their walk on the beech.
Parking is tricky in Eastborne, but this is not the fault of the hotel - however the location is near enough to paid parking which is much better than driving around trying to find a space that is just for permits.

Good forwhat we were doing
Its an old hotel, so you accept everything isnt perfect, but room size was good, was not sure it was a superior though.
Location was great. Should not ofhad to ask for things like toilet roll when your roomhas been cleaned, some things not great in room but you accept with old builing

Excellent stay with helpful and friendly staff at all times
Very good wide choice for breakfast. Good sea view from room. Having a bar menu available all day was very convenient.
The only complaint was that our room was not serviced properly on one morning.

OK apart from waits for the only working lift
only one small lift working. Both lifts need replacing with larger more modern ones
