She had a been a huge help in selecting stunning jewellery for various occasions, including my wedding jewellery and wedding rings. Millie takes the time to understand my preferences and always offers excellent advice.
The customer service at Chatfield's is exceptional, and the staff genuinely care about their customers. From the moment I step into the store, I feel valued and well taken care of. Millie and the team go above and above to make every visit to the store memorable and enjoyable.

After a horrible experience at a nearby hotel, I popped into the Afton Hotel, located right next door to the said horrible hotel.
I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness and professionalism of the gentleman and lady at the reception, who were extremely sympathetic to my situation and offered me one of their available twin rooms with a bath at a very reasonable rate.
Their compassion really turned my day around 🥺
The room itself, while a bit dated, was far more spacious than I expected and even had a sea view.
It was clean and comfortable, with a TV, tea-making facilities, and basic toiletries provided.
The lack of WiFi in the room was a minor downside, but it didn’t detract much from the overall experience.
One of the highlights of the hotel was the pub, which were always occupied by mature gents & ladies, and serves reasonably priced drinks—a refreshing pint of cider was just what I needed after the stress of the whole experience at the start of my Eastbourne trip.
If you’re looking for a friendly, comfortable place to stay in Eastbourne, I highly recommend the Afton Hotel.
It’s not the most modern hotel, but the exceptionally kind and warm hosts and cosy atmosphere more than make up for it.
