The location made it for me. As I was out and about I only used the hotel to sleep and didn't get the opportunity to use the bar and restaurant.
The hotel is a bit dated but was pretty much as I expected.

Location was perfect for a seaside stroll and heading to South Downs national park the next day. The hotel is obviously old but our room was nice and spacious, which was ideal
