James undertook all the electrical work for our extension and kitchen renovation in Autumn 2023 through to Spring 2024. James' work was excellent and he always explained everything to us before he carried any work out. Everything came in on budget and James' help and advice during the planning stages was invaluable. James was friendly and a pleasure to have around the house while he was working and that was important to us. We would definitely contact James again for any future work and we'd highly recommend him.

Found James on MCS search facility. I thought I knew what I wanted and others had quoted for exactly that but James injected his experience and knowledge into my request and produced a quote for what I actually needed based on this. After some discussion and slight tweaking we came to the final config together with which I couldn't be happier. Solar, battery (hybrid inverter ... look it up!), hot water diverter and some electrical work to replace old non compliant consumer units and assist in the move of our supply by UK Power Networks. Excellent work and advice which saved me money in the first place on unneeded kit without impacting future cost savings or flexibility. James has produced a very high standard of work while being friendly, meticulous and flexible on scheduling. The latter has been invaluable when trying to schedule power supply, meter moves, solar install and existing infrastructure upgrades at the same time.
The best review comment I can give anyone is that I would definitely use them again without even considering about searching for alternate quotes from others. James easily lives up to this measure.

We used JM Solar on our recent conversion project. James provided suggestions and advice re our requirements ultimately saving us money. Itemised, cost effective quotes were provided promptly and he meticulously marked out where switches, sockets, extractors and lights would be positioned so there were no surprises on completion. We also found James to be flexible (a great asset when scheduling work with other trades) reliable and very personable.
