Basic but cheap
Location and price.
The rooms are very basic and a bit dated. SOME of The staff are extremely rude and couldn’t care less about anything. I didn’t realise I had booked a room for with two single beds (small print) so I asked could we please get a double bed and the guy behind the desk simply said and I quote “ no we are fully booked. Or pay extra”
Definitely we’re not fully booked as I called from upstairs to ask and also how could I have paid extra if fully booked. It was 9pm at night.

Go often. Sadly Hotel heating uncontrollable spoiled sleeping.

Excellent value for money and decent breakfast, comfy bed .
It’s a lovely old hotel with its features and ideal location by the Pier
Floorboards were very creaky , so when someone got up in the night woke the other guest, but kind of something you can’t avoid in a big old hotel.
