Super friendly staff. Great value for money. Needs a little tlc.
Look, this is a bit run down old British seaside hotel in need of some TLC. However with the price being what it is it is excellent value for money. Not to mention the staff. I met no person who wasn’t absolutely wonderful to talk to. They were helpful and smiled. If this place had a lick of paint and a bit of interior design with the current staff it would be able to demand much higher prices. Owners of you are reading this then get a little refurb on the go.
Breakfast was nice with GF options and helpful staff. It’s a little run down but everyone who works there makes up for it.

Showing its age but ok
A great old hotel from a bygone era however sorely in need of a renovation. Great location in walking distance to the pier and town. Ok for a nights stay.

Parking fee as the scratch cards for £2 are not available as all other hotels. We have stayed here many times and always able to purchase a scratch card for parking from the reception. The excuse was that they have their own car park at rear which is £6 a day. But the car park has always been there. …

A very enjoyable stay. There was a real buzz around the reception area and the breakfast area.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with plenty of everything. The hotel, being close to the pier, was ideally positioned. The room was serviced each day of our three day stay. The shower water was nice and not. We made good use of the kettle and the hot chocolate provided was welcome.
The room had poor ventilation with just one window opening about 8 cm. When we did open it we were invaded by pigeons. The door to the room was tricky to close and made a terrible bang each time we closed it.

The staff were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was lovely plenty to choose from.
The room was clean. Not wheelchair friendly, there should be ramps available to use on the steps in the corridors to all the rooms, I struggled to get the wheelchair up and down 2 sets of 2 steps to be able to get to our room.

Lovely bed high ceiling beach on the doorstep to the sea , shops in town amazing views fabulous .
I didn’t eat breakfast I never do , but it was busy both mornings and people / customers seemed happy
Ceiling a bit flaky could do with a spruce up bathroom windows needs a deep clean
