Coffee not great. I found it quite harsh and bitter. I also had a crab and salad ciabatta-type sandwich which was distinctly average but not cheap - about 5 quid. Not a lot in sandwich, either. The place is nice and has decent Wi-Fi, so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt since I've only been there once. The centre of Eastbourne has a mix of coffee shops and places to eat and Urban Ground wants to appeal to the more affluent end based on its prices, but it didn't deliver the quality for me.

Always great coffee, cakes and service. For an even better experience, visit their outlet in the Towner gallery for the same great coffee with added stunning views of the South Downs
