A very modern looking art gallery with an amazing collection of paintings. The star of the show for me was the Eric Ravilious collection. The entry is free but there are paid exhibitions happening in the gallery too. Also has a nice restaurant inside. Even the outside of the gallery is a work of art. German artist Lothar Götz transformed the exterior walls of the gallery with his large-scale, colourful geometric artwork, 'Dance Diagonal'. A must visit on your trip to Eastbourne

Beautiful location. A ton of history and lots to see. I would recommend eating in the Royal Oak just across the street from the main entrance after visiting. Also make sure to visit Battle AbbeyWait time

Enjoyed a meal with the family at The Alexandra Arms. The food was superb and excellent quality. All the food was very hot and homemade. We are only visiting in Eastbourne but will definitely return the next time we are here.
