Good budget hotel that will surprise you
When you pull up outside it looks a bit shabby but cross the threshold and you find a hidden jewel Staff welcome excellent and whole inside areas restaurant bars etc beautiful Room although slightly faded was clean and well appointed Value for money excellent We had a lovely stay thank you
Only one problem which people of our age demographic and the size of the hotel caused traffic jams and that was one of the two lifts was out of action

Location
As many reviewers have highlighted the lift was out of order and it seems this is a regular ongoing occurrence. Guests expectations would rightly be that a service engineer would fix the problem within 24 hours. Difficult situation when there are guests with mobility problems who cannot use the stairs. Immediate attention is needed for this.
No ladies toilets or disabled toilet available on the ground floor. Only gents toilet available on the ground floor. Therefore, disabled females have to use the gents toilets. This is not good.

Friendly receptionist. Lovely location with parking
Tiny lift, one not working. Very hot with only fans for comfort. The bathroom could do with a good clean to get rid of the mould

First rate!
The assistance Ian gave us over a rather complicated and protracted land transfer was first rate, he explained things clearly – accommodated us when we couldn't easily get to the Eastbourne Office, by sending items that needed signature to Hastings, he liaised directly with the Developer personally and ensured we understood the process all the way through. His time and fees were worth every penny and the costs were most fair. We would highly recommend Ian for help with land matters as he is so easy and pleasant to deal with, doesn't create work where it isn't needed thus taking potential worry out of the situation. We really don't know how to thank him enough and would recommend his services to anybody.
