Receptionist was very nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Room was tidy and clean. Elevator very antique and very tiny. A bit scary. With a bit more care, polish/repairs and modernisation it could be very lovely hotel at great location.

Staff excellent and great service, first 2 nights in single room was ok, wall paper falling off walls but room clean, was moved on 3rd night and noice was very bad,

Wanted to get away for a cheap winter weekend break and this hotel and the price were perfect.
Positioned opp the pier, next to the town centre, thus big old palatial Victorian hotel was perfect. There might not be any major thrills but at less than £50 per night incl breakfast, you really can’t go wrong! And the staff were lovely, the rooms clean and the whole hotel, very warm, which was most appreciated on a bitterly cold, but beautiful romantic tinged weekend. Thankyou.

Although it was very cold outside no one prepared us for the temp in the room lol proper face melter.
There has been a lick of paint since our last stay which looks great.
Only one lift that’s meant to hold 4 people or in my my case just one and hope I don’t set the alarms off

Didn't like the main lift not being available, no wheelchair access or ladies toilets on the ground floor. Brilliant sea view and hotel well situated.
