The widows were dirty, we couldn't see the sea view which we'd paid extra for.
Cups dirty in room
The room was far too hot and we complained to no joy.
Eventually our 74year old family member had to climb on a chair to switch a switch off which was around 7ft high

Ok hotel is old and could do with a refurb.

Bedroom was tired and the one my friend had was worse cracked sink in bathroom and not very clean.

Lovely view, excellent food in a historic hotel
The hotel is about 170 years old some of it feels original but that’s the beauty of the building.
The staff were excellent, we had both dinner s 3 course meal and breakfast both were excellent with lots of choices available. We had a lovely sea view with the pier The windows at the front need replacement but there is a refurbishment due in 2026

Enjoyable, central for visiting the area but wouldn’t stay there again.
The location was brilliant . Breakfast was brilliant. Room was large.
Needed an update. Bathroom basin had odd taps, sealant around the basin didn’t look nice, bathroom

It was our second time in this hotel. Its value for the price, good location .The staff was friendly quick check in and check out. I will visit again in future.
The room was clean and.comfortable but the bathroom was with mould and not clean properly.in general everything was good.
