Went to see a ELO tribute band (which was great the way). The theatre is compact and in fantastic condition. The interior decor has been thoughtfully restored to match what you'd expect from the mid-20 century.
Lovely little well-stocked bar. Clean toikets. Pretty much all seats have a good view of the stage. Staff are (mostly) volunteers and take pride in their work. Would have been five stars except the sound system (or mixl wasn't quite top notch. Bass over-powerd strings, very slight distortion, not quite the clarity that woukd be ideal, a little muddy. Not sure if this is the equipment, the mix or the band. If you've never been before, and like us, don't know anything about this place, then rest assured, it's worth a visit!

Lovely and comfortable staff very friendly
The staff were wonderful received a room upgrade. Parking at the rear, breakfast was great heaps of choices hot and cold close for walking along the water front

I've seen and liked Dave's reports for other landlords and decided to give him a go after dealing with a variety of others in this field and have to say he is a breath of fresh air. After learning about his previous life in the Police it was clear that this gives his reports an extra layer of perspective. I genuinely found him to be an engaging and thorough assessor. He is now my go to for FRA's.

Alfriston Gardens was honestly the perfect venue for my Create & Capture™ day.
The space is absolutely beautiful, with so many gorgeous areas to create content, but what really stood out for me was how helpful and welcoming the team were from start to finish.
Nothing felt like too much trouble and having such supportive staff made such a difference when organising a full day with models, artists and suppliers.
We had the most amazing day and I couldn’t have asked for a better space to bring Create & Capture™ to life. I would 100% recommend Alfriston Gardens for weddings, events and creative days. Thank you for having us.

Excellent service. Dave was quick to respond to my query and was very helpful and informative. The FRA was carried out without delay and I received the report within 24 hours. I was really impressed and would recommend Southern Fire Risk to anyone needing an FRA at relatively short notice.
