Lovely, well kept building and very helpful staff. We had a small double room which was nice.
The evening meals weren't brilliant.

It was a room for the night.
The location, it is on the sea front and a short walk to the town centre. There is a private car park which at this time of year did have a space available. The communal parts were clean and maintained.
Please Note: Room may reflect the fact that I had a discounted (genius level) rate. Solo traveller.
Though the room was large it was dull with dusty skirting boards and carpet edges. It overlooked a service road and the backs of other buildings. The once white net curtains were grey with age. The mattress was very old with no mattress protector, just a thin sheet. The sink and bath taps dripped constantly, the bath had yellow limescale stains from the dripping taps. A very small TV about 17 inches I would say, but it did have a good picture quality.

We are happy, it’s good value of money and the room is clean.
It is seafront, very convenient for watching the sunrise and have morning walk along the coast. It’s is very near the city center too. There are many restaurants and take ways.
The hotel is old, the lift is old but they are kept clean.

Jaded breakfast. TV screen far too small for the distance you had to watch it from. Bathroom window could not be closed
