Was interesting for us two adults and was very cool to see the telescopes, however I wouldn’t recommend unless you have children. There did seem to be events going on but we didn’t stay to watch. Also, there doesn’t seem to be any parking available on site unless you’re disabled. The entrance is mainly for Herstmonceux castle, if you’re coming for the observatory, park at the car park adjacent to the entrance on the same road and walk up, it’s an interesting walk and you can see the observatory in all its glory too.

They have their own Cargo Gym car park off road with loads of space, very easy to park, even for me. There is a toilet close to the gym. Different memberships that are flexible and pay as you go option. Get down there it's brilliant! 🏅
