Join local folklore enthusiast Jonathan Seaman for this relaxed one hour wander from the Beacon to Motcombe Gardens while ruminating on the folk tales and stories that the now, hidden Bourne Stream would have inspired in the local people. We will also see how some traditional tales were inspired by actual events experienced in this landscape hundreds or even thousands of years ago. From wishing wells to the Lady in the Lake…who knew that the Bourne held such stories!
