Radio DGH broadcasts twenty four hours a day Online, and to over 450 patients within the Eastbourne’s District General Hospital, and has been in existence now for just over 40 years.
It is run entirely by volunteers who all have a passion for providing the highest quality programming, and are dedicated to provide high quality music, performance and public affairs in order to inform, educate, entertain and inspire the patients and public who make up the listening audience. It is broadcast from two purpose built studios, based within the main hospital building.
Radio DGH are a registered charity, running entirely via donations and sponsorship from businesses and individuals.
They offer a diverse range of programmes that represent the unique characteristics, beliefs, interests and values of the listening audience. They broadcast everything from classical to rock, soul and jazz, as well as regular sports and news coverage, both national, international and of course Local News and Events within Eastbourne.

To listen to the Station if you are a Patient within the EDGH, then you can do this via Channel 1 on the internal Hospedia Radio System and this service is free for patients to listen in.
