The JPK Project is an Eastbourne-based charity that exists to provide opportunities for people with learning disabilities.

Through extensive fundraising to develop our centre in Old Town, near St. Mary’s Church, we have now unveiled the JPK Palm Court Tea Room and bakery/training centre. It is planned to open in 2018 and will offer work experience and training for adults with learning disabilities in East Sussex and provide a new community space.

It is part of our longer term plans to create a Supported Living Centre on the site. On completion, this will provide accommodation for 24 individuals via 16 en-suite studio apartments and 8 flatlets, plus communal rooms.

Fundraising continues for the building and refurbishment work to the communal rooms and for equipment and furniture to this area and the administrative offices. Alongside this, we have also commenced fundraising for the 8 semi-independent flats and the Activity Learning Centre.

The JPK Centre can be found on Church Street, Old Town, Eastbourne. Until it is fully open, our postal address is The JPK Project c/o 7 Wannock Avenue, Eastbourne BN20 9RP.
