Very fresh, super fast and friendly service. Great prices. I sat at the bar area and had the pleasure of watching the chefs at work. A very busy kitchen with great skills! I will definitely return when I'm next in the area.

A lively spotless open-plan kitchen that you can see as you walk in is definitely a good sign, but it's the subtle flavours and excellent service that keep me coming back to this excellent restaurant with a thai spin on all my favourite oriental foods. It gets pretty full at busy times (and I can see why), so be prepared for this.

Ah, I'm sorry to say, I'm not a fan. I've given this place a couple of goes now, and it's not for me.
I've found my noodles to be undercooked, or the meals sloppy and stodgy. When I've asked for something quite specific for my fussy eater of a child, it's not been right, and that's disappointing. In this case, plain rice was placed in a bowl of sweet soy sauce, when I've asked for just boiled rice. Saying that, others who I know, haven't had this problem. It has been busy on the occasions I have visited. My parents love it here.
I will say that the anime style decor is ace, and the prices cheap, the food just is not to my taste. If it helps for comparison, I'm a big fan of pompoko in Brighton, and Eastbourne's Thai Elephant.

Born and bred in EB, this was my regular noodle joint for Pad Thai when I was a kid.
Being away from town, I have been itching to go back.
Since my last visit, it is no longer a small noodle bar but a big noodle restaurant with another branch somewhere in town.
Without further ado, the pad thai is a must and I also ordered the Mixed Vegetable chow mein as I have never tried their chow mein.
For the pad thai, there are two versions, a vegetarian one and a non veg one which contains fish sauce.
The vegetable pad thai tasted just as good as before but slightly different to the prawn pad thai as it was my first time having the vegetarian one.
As for the mixed vegetable chow mein, the taste was fantastic.
Each strand was uniformly flavoured and covered in sauce complimented by the crunchy vegetables.
Will definitely be back for other noodles and the price tag is definitely affordable.
Tap water is available and self service.

The noodle bar is good value for money. For me the food is not as good as it was several years ago. Dissapointed by the lack of ingredients in my dish. Be great to see some more vegan options on the menu. Tofu was terrible.
