Utterly fantastic bakery. I’ve been many times and I’ve never had anything that wasn’t completely outstanding. Some have complained it’s too expensive, but compared to what? Massed produced, poor quality supermarket bakeries? The quality at To The Rise, greatly surpasses the small extra cost. Highly recommended. My only complaint is the location, as Terminus Road is somewhat depressing and not somewhere I enjoy being for very long. Grove Road or Carlisle Road would’ve been better options, but I’m guessing Terminus offered a shop, with a suitable kitchen. Anyway, you guys deserve every success, as what you’ve created is outstanding perfection. Congratulations!

Also ran!

The pastries were good, but the guy who served us made us pay for three pastry take aways and only put two in the bag, with only two customers it's not the best

To The Rise Bakery in Eastbourne is a wonderful bakery that offers high-quality baked goods, though they are not the cheapest option in town. However, their freshly baked bread and pastries are certainly worth the price. The bakery's warm and welcoming atmosphere, coupled with the attentive and friendly staff, make it a lovely spot for a quick breakfast or a leisurely coffee break.
