I needed a haircut that morning. Very few places open on a Monday. I was assigned a junior hairdresser. I explained I wanted a 'bixie' which is a shorter pixie in the back, longer bob in the front . .. it's trending, it's been all over hair magazines etc. She explained has she had just graduated as a qualifying beautician, and it was out of reach for her.<br>Well I was grateful she didn't ruin my hair, I was disappointed that so graduated from beautition school wasn't more on trend and a bit more experienced?

Professional and friendly! This was my first visit to the salon, as I’m new to the area. I’m very pleased with both the colour (slightly darker but warmer tone) and the cut by Paul. I can thoroughly recommend.

Nice but the colour was not what I asked for, and I was disappointed. Even if offered, I could not go back to have it fixed because that would just be a super awkward experience...and what I had done cost quite a bit. I just have to go have it fixed elsewhere. I tried to be nice about how it looked after but did point out the colour was wrong. It was a nice job, but not what I wanted overall at all. Sometimes that happens with hairdressers, they have an artistic vision, and you just have to try again.

First time at this fabulous salon. Very warm welcome, all masked up and dividers between sinks. The lovely Ellie cut my hair beautifully and I was really pleased and will definitely return. Highly recommended.

I had an appointment with Dale yesterday who was absolutely fantastic. He was so professional, friendly and attentive. It was my first visit to the salon and I asked Dale to correct my hair tone which is now perfect and completely suits my complexion. The girl who washed my hair was also very sweet. The salon has been transformed since lockdown with a great new look and feel. The staff are super professional, highly skilled and polite. The measures in place post COVID are very tight making you feel extremely safe. The new text/email appointment reminder system is a great addition. I highly recommend anyone to go to The Cutting Club.
