Incredible communication from start to finish, we had been struggling to understand the ins and outs of the planning application and Darren guided us through the whole thing. His whole team worked tirelessly to ensure we had the planning we needed and therefore peace of mind as well as giving us options to do things ourselves to keep cost down. Before this we were going around in circles with the planning department. Fantastic service and highly recommended for all your planning and architectural design needs.

Cannot speak too highly of how straightforward it was to work with Spitfire Architecture even with the constraints on contact caused by Covid. The design was very much in keeping with and complemented the existing Edwardian property. Spitfire Architecture helped us with the plans and planning application for our partial garage conversion and kitchen extension. Both Darren and his wife were extremely friendly, helpful and professional and went above and beyond to help us and answer any queries we had. The drawings were returned in a timely manner and any tweaks made as necessary. Unfortunately our build has taken longer to finish than anticipated (thanks to covid and unreliable builders) but that has nothing to do with Spitfire Architecture. In fact they were extremely helpful in trying to recommend other local firms that they had previously worked with to try and help us.<br>We are almost at the finish line now and can't wait to share our before and after pictures with Darren and Amanda, and to also thank them for all their help and support. I would highly recommend Spitfire Architecture,Darren and his team are very knowledgeable and extremley helpful we were pushed for time due to the planning permission needed in time for the fisherman's memorial, they liased with the different party's involved and took all the stress away from me, it was refreshing that communication wasn't just via email and they we're happy to give me a courtesy call just to update me on the progress. Because of their efficiency and accuracy planning permission was accepted in time for the revealing thank you again without you on board I don't feel this would have been possible

Darren has provided and excellent, professional and thorough service as part of our loft conversion and ground floor reconfiguration project on our bungalow. As has been commented on in previous reviews Darren is a very friendly and approachable in his manner, and takes the time to talk through all elements of a project and provide sound advice to help inform design and build decisions.<br><br>The whole spitfire service is extremely comprehensive, but flexible as well; and Darren adapted his service to our particular needs right from the start. Darren was able to tailor his services to cater for exactly what we needed, and when.<br><br>At the start of the project, we had some initial ideas about what we wanted to achieve, and Darren took the time to work through the design with us in detail to get every part exactly right, providing advice on how achievable things were, and on what would work to keep costs within budget.<br><br>Darren was able to articulate to us clearly the process behind planning permission and building regulations applications (otherwise a somewhat inaccessible process for the layman) and guided us through each step to achieve what we wanted.<br><br>Darren has always been quick with a response and open to discussion when any questions have arisen - and has only been a phone call or e-mail away if we needed any help.<br><br>The project is currently being built, and having the consistency of a solid design and a full set of approved plans has given us the confidence we needed to press ahead with the project as designed.
