A good place to walk to from Eastbourne as it gives great views along the coastline. The marina itself has ample seating, a beach and plenty of choices if you're feeling hungry.

Sovereign Harbour is a delightful marina with shops, restaurants and a pub. Clean, safe and very picturesque. One of my favourite places to visit.

I'm prejudiced as I live here and love the atmosphere and pleasant walks around the harbour. Certainly worth a visit. Coffees or alcohol whichever is your preference. Dinners or snacks just lovely. Your choice. Enjoy it all

Away from the main town you will find the Harbour.

Slightly hidden behind shops and an large estate.

We walked from the beach via the sea lock into the harbour and had drinks in one of the serval restaurants there. Realy nice place to see boating activity.

Very quiet. Nice place to wonder round. Lots of places to eat but not cheap!! Ok to spend a couple or hours but no more than that.

Whilst staying in Eastbourne we walked to see Sovereign Harbour, from Eastbourne its about a three mile walk (each way!) so not too bad, there's a costal path right the way from Eastbourne to Sovereign Harbour which is lovely to walk along and the harbour itself is well worth a few hours walking around and seeing all the yachts and ships moored up there, it certainly is very "Built up" and there was a lot of construction work going on on the huge apartment complexes that are being built there but it didn't really spoil our enjoyment of wandering about, we stopped at the harvester for a few drinks and then wandered back to Eastbourne.
Worth a visit if you are out that way for sure.
