Lovely views out to sea, fascinating lock and many eating places. Sit by the lock and watch the boats. Lifeboat also based here. Martello fort. Have enjoyed many happy hours here.

An enjoyable sunny afternoon here, not masses of restaurants to choose from but still enough choice. Struggled to find the way in as the coast road had road works.

The Harbour has free parking, Its a big harbour with plenty of places to walk and admire the boats. the lock gates are a popular part to walk to, you can watch the locks fill and empty and see the different boats come in and out. The restaurants are many with a wide variety of food. you can get anything from, Italian, Indian, Thai, fish and chips, burgers and many more. there really is something for everybody.

The harbours yacht club is also an RYA training centre so a good place to learn new things. The harbour tour boat is a good value trip round all the different parts of the harbour

Great place for a stroll. Just a shame the shops and restaurants are on the expensive side. Much nicer than Brighton marina.

We went to the cinema which was very comfortable and had dinner at Simply Italian which was Excellent and the decor was good the cut out wood shapes on the ceiling is very arty as is the whole restaurant authentic Italian staff very friendly and food delicious and very well priced. My husband was very impressed with the Vespa bike which was on display which brought back lots of happy memories of his own Vespa.
We saw the centre in day and night light and were impressed. The harbour has some very impressive boats and well worth a look.

The harbour is a lovely place to visit. You can enjoy the boats and easily walk to the beach from here. Also it's next to a shopping centre. There is a Harvester, a lovely coffee shop and a couple of pubs. Two Italian restaurants and a Thai restaurant. It's a relaxing place to visit.

What a delight, we stumbled upon the Marina which is very much like those found around the Mediterranean. Loads of boats, flats and restaurants. It's quite a long walk from the town centre but we felt it had been worth it. It really is very charming.

We cycled here from Beachy Head so it was a good distance. We weren't sure what to expect but it was a pleasant surprise. very interesting to see all the boats and the apartments around it. I think it seemed to be lacking an atmosphere but not sure how to change that. Plenty of places to have lunch or coffee and I would come back again out of season as I think it would be too busy in high season for me. Very interesting to see the harbour and locks but there is a high density of houses which does make it seem a bit like a huge housing estate that just happens to have a marina
