Driving lessons with Phillip felt more like a Monday morning catch up with a friend rather than a lesson with strict conditions. With having no driving experience at all to passing first time Phillip made learning easy and exciting. I could not recommend Phillip enough, he really is a fantastic driving instructor.<br>:)

I had driving lessons with Philip for a few months, because I really wanted to be well prepared for my test, Philip is very professional in the way he has improved my driving skills. As a beginner driver who just coming from abroad I’m not even familiar with the driving condition in England, and He help me a lot with this including improving my driving skills. He is very patient but can also be strict when needed for my benefit! I’m so great full to had him as my instructor, and I passed on my first driving test ! 🙏😀

My daughter has just passed her driving test first time! She has had a very positive experience learning to drive. Phillip’s patience and professionalism is second to none. Each lesson planned out. With also a few laughs and a personal connection that makes learning enjoyable. My daughter is now a confident and safe driver. I drove from Seaford every week to Eastbourne to get my daughter to Phillip’s hour and a half lesson. I will do it again when my younger daughter needs to learn to drive.<br>Thank you for giving my daughter her driving independence 👍🏻

I could not recommend Phillip enough. I was a really nervous learner driver and he was patient and understanding, he has great knowledge and has so much experience. He never gives up on you. Phillip is an excellent teacher. I have had a couple of different driving instructors, and I found Phillip to be really supportive, knowledgeable and patient, so I decided to stick with him. Simply fantastic. I started as a very nervous and anxious driver with zero experience. Phillip did an amazing job, from start to finish, and helped me to pass first time! On behalf of my daughter I can 100% recommend Phillip.<br><br>Obviously as a parent I only saw him at the beginning and end of a lesson, but he was always on time and flexible around the odd school commitment.<br><br>He is a friendly, genuine person and he clearly has a true passion for what he does. The feedback from my daughter was that he was always informative, kind, patient, encouraging and I know that all of that gave her the confidence to put her nervousness aside and pass not only her theory test, but also her practical test first time.<br><br>I have no doubt that my daughter will go out on the road with all the training she needs to be a safe driver, so if you want an excellent teacher then look no further...it's not difficult to see why he's so popular...!

thanks to Philip at Simply Automatic i just passed my test! He is a superb instructor who doesn't just want you to pass, he wants you to be the safest and most skilled driver you can be. as someone coming into the driving game late in life (50!) with many eccentric foibles i honestly can't imagine that anyone else could've got me through it successfully, but Philip's vast experience and jovial manner put me at ease and ensured that i made it across the finish line. i will certainly miss driving around with him - throughly professional and fun.

Last Tuesday, I passed my driving test! Philip has shown nothing but patience, kindness and professionalism. He is a perfect instructor. I got my money’s worth. If he can teach me, he can teach anyone 😊 highly recommended 👍 I was previously with an instructor that was charging less but wasn’t a good teacher. When I started lessons with Philip I realised that I hadn’t been taught correctly, because knowing and teaching are two different things. Philip really knows how to teach and he is passionate about turning you into a safe and confident driver. I wish him all the best.

An amazing, supportive and wonderful teacher. I genuinely wouldn't have passed my test without Philip, especially being neurodiverse.<br>He put so much time and energy into teaching me in a style that works for the way I learn, never giving up and always believing in me.<br>I had many emotional moments that he handled with empathy and companion, and I will really miss our time together.<br>I can't recommend him highly enough and I was so very lucky to be able to work within, worth every penny.

Without a doubt, I would not have passed my UK driving test first time without the excellent instruction I received from Phillip. Having learnt to drive in the Middle East, I found driving in the UK quite a challenge. He was most kind to fit me into his busy schedule at short notice and provided professional, thorough and confidence-building teaching that enabled me to pass my test earlier than expected. Phillip was highly observant in detecting my driving weaknesses and went to great lengths to help me improve my driving techniques and to drive with safety in mind not only for the purpose of passing the test but for my long-term driving benefit. He patiently taught me the various required parking manoeuvres and went out of his way to ensure that I was as ready as possible to take the test. Phillip’s years of experience as an instructor shone through and his teaching techniques were exemplary. I am most grateful for his dedication, professionalism and perseverance in equipping me to drive on UK roads with confidence. Thank you!

Phil is the most amazing driving instructor - he is very patient and very clear. He was my fourth instructor, incredibly reliable and easy to get along with. I wasn't the easiest person to teach but Phil got me test ready and I have just passed. I would highly recommend Simply Automatic to anyone learning to drive, the best person for the job!
