Large garden centre that also sells a wide range of other products. Good for pet supplies. Good stock and good prices.

I will have to premise this by saying I am not a regular frequenter of garden centres and therefore have few reference points to base my expectations on. My feedback is.mostly based on those elemenents common to retail. Premises including car park are adequate but for a uninviting area at the back. The layout is fine and flows in a fairly logical way according to product categories. This helps tracking down items of interest without being funnelled around the whole store in an attempt to encourage impulse buying. The outside area also does a good job in displaying their wares without being too sprawling. I went in looking for a bird bath: they only had ex display units on sale (although I told they could check if they had some boxed ones). In the end we agreed on a 10pc discount. I believe the store also has a dinousaur themed museum/activity area and a canteen/cafeteria but these were shut in compliance with lockdown rules. Pleasant enough experience possibly coloured by the fact it's one of the very few places that are left open in lockdown.

Always a great place to visit. I especially like the animatronic dinosaurs and the whole history of planet Earth section. Makes me wish that I could build a similar place one day.
