Lovely place with a nice walking trail and cracking kids playgrounds. The evolution exhibition could do with a little love, a few exhibits were broken and in places it is looking a little tired. Some of the signs on the heritage trail date back to the 90s and give information that is a little out of date (Shoreham power station for instance). However neither of these points mean it doesn't deserve 5 stars. The pirate train driver (a totally normal thing to see in Newhaven) was very friendly and even knew some of the sign language my son used. The cafe had a 30 minute wait but was very reasonably priced and the food was good quality. It is a good day out with kids, my 2 year old a great time and we will definitely go back as he gets older.

Brilliant, we had such a fun dau out, and very good learning experience not just for the kids but interesting facts for us adults as well. It had a very nice garden area and trails, also a lovely restaurant, dinosaur safari, a mini train for the kids to ride on. Also fun for the adults too. Plus a Museum we couldn't go in as it closed at 4:45pm When its supposed to at 5:00pm but nevermind. We will be returning as it was such a good day out for the kids. It had a soft play area inside as well as a large area outside to play. The earthquake floor looked cool to go on but was out of orders this time so maybe next time its working, looks fun to stand on. 😁<br>Overall, it's a fun packed day out and worth while. I fully recommend it.

I'm never sure why more people don't know about this place! It's a fantastic place to take children with so much to do. Indoor and outdoor play areas, museum, little train and huge Garden centre with gifts and toys. Lovely in the summer, with all the beautiful gardens and great in the winter for their wonderful Santa's Grotto and shopping. On a separate note, I've always found the staff there to be excellent with children, but recently the manager, Darren went well out of his way for my child. She has this ugly little Gorilla figure that she adores and plays with all day, every day. It has the sole use of all the little play-sets she has, intended for use with toy people figures. We got it in a set at Paradise park last December and she lost it this week, 8 months later. The heartbreak was real, so I emailed Paradise Park to find out if they knew who made the set with the Gorilla in it and if they still sold them - not really expecting much. Darren went all out to trace this particular Gorilla, located one and had it sent to a garden centre closer to where we live for me to collect, all within 48 hours. Amazing!!!

Roofing in the restaurant area needs a good cleaning. Not nice to see so many cobwebs when having a meal.

Really good garden centre although the prices seem surprisingly high on some items like sheds and greenhouses. The plant selection was impressive and staff were very helpful and polite. Plenty of parking and food also available in the cafe as well, I could easily spend a few hours there.

This is the best garden centre. This garden centre has the biggest range of plants I have ever seen in one place they were even selling Zinnia's! I could have spent a fortune. If you want pollinators friendly plants then come here. Cafe really nice too. We sat in the garden. It was all good.
