Kids and I had a lovely time, nice indoor and outdoor area to play in. Only criticism is that the younger children area is not fenced in so they could wander off if you weren't watching.

Possibly more written excitement than actual, however for kids on damp days it's ideal inside space gives them loads to do, although after 2 hours max. They'd had enough.. didn't manage the museum, as it was shut.. the garden centre looked vast though but is lowly parents didn't get to that bit!

A surprising place in Newhaven. Much bigger than might think and dog friendly cafe with lovely views over the very green park. (The museum doesn't allow dogs)

Great for kids 3yrs-10 yrs. Interesting information about dinosaurs, volcanoes, animals, sealife, minerals etc for children and adults. Has both indoor and outdoor areas, great for rainy days and reasonably priced!

Huge variety of products on show and available. Helpful staff and easy parking. Cafe was very busy with a long queue waiting so did not use. Must be popular though.

Great place , loved the museum part , very informative, the dinosaurs were interesting, soft play was a bit over crowded, but then it was raining. The arcade was decent with plenty of mechens.... loved the garden walk and the little fish pond..... over all Greet day out... can't wait to go again.

Brilliant day had by my twin 7 year old girls and all their cousins, ages between 7 and 12. Lots of interesting plants and flowers to see in the different style Gardens as well as dinosaurs too. Very educational with lots of info about the earth and wildlife which also captivated them. Toilets and café on site were you could by the standard teas, coffees as well as hot a d cold food. Well recommended lots to see and do.

Great time for the children. The only downside was the queue for lunch, although the staff did their very best and were courteous at all times.

Delightful day out, beautiful gardens thoughtfully laid out and beautiful planting, colour, interest, and clever idea having local landmarks in miniature in between plants, interesting dinosaur bit, play area bit old for our 18 month old but lots of spaces to sit and chat or have a pic nic, nice restaurant, all staff really lovely, didn't have enough time to see everything, a great day out, didn't get the train, but lovely to hear it, will feed return, we really enjoyed it

We had an enjoyable day, but the museum section is looking very tired. Lots of different play areas which is nice.

Excellent garden centre and café. Day ticket includes access to large playgrounds for all ages, soft play and arcades (games 50p). Crazy golf (£1). Lovely gardens and extensive museum/discovery/dinosaur trail. Miniature train rides at the café in school hols and weekends, only £1. Great day out and value for money.
