Situated on the A27, near Firle, on a working farm. The shop has a great selection of local produce from vegetables and bread to meat and cheeses. Ridiculously huge selection of ciders, and a good selection of Sussex beers and wine.

It's a bit of a destination, so can get very busy, but there is plenty of overflow parking. It's not the cheapest Farm Shop, but the quality is excellent and supports Sussex producers.

We called in to Middle Farm for a bite to eat, having passed it on the way to Pevensey castle. Thinking it was just a tea room and a farm shop, we were really surprised at just how much there is there.
Our food and service in the tea room were both really good - nice coffee, delicious fresh pressed apple juice and lovely bacon sandwiches!
Then to appease the 5 yr and 8yr olds, we decided to look at the animals, which it turned out, offered way more than we had expected: pigs, cows, groom a pony, donkeys, chickens, rabbits, mice, sheep, llamas ... am sure we missed a few! Unfortunately we missed the milking but a walk in the shed and seeing all the equipment close up was enough to get our 8yr old thinking and asking endless questions. Highlight though was the 'play barn' and a reminder that kids don't need extravagant, plastic and foam soft plays - a bunch of bales of straw made into tunnels had them happy for ages!
Middle Farm felt like a proper working farm with activities for families - a change from many of the 'adventure farms' that have popped up everywhere these days and which charge a fortune. (The £5 entry fee to the farm felt like a bargain, especially if we could have spent more time there)
We didn't have time to browse the shop but feeling we've missed out, we definitely intend to return when next passing through. Brilliant!

This place is a must of you have young children and live nearby, I have taken the kids a few times and they love it animals every where for them to touch and interact with you pay a premium to get in but you can spend the whole day there so make sure you take a packed lunch and you can keep the price down. The milking is a great way to explain how the milk gets from cow to fridge :)

Just took the first windfalls from my apple tree to be pressed at Middle Farm for the first time. I was so impressed by the polite and helpful 'apple presser' who allowed me to change appointments at short notice then processed my apples in between other pressings. He then offered to carry the cartons of juice to my car. Would thoroughly recommend. The juice tastes great too!

Excellent place for Children to be "real children". Had a wonderful naturally fun day with my little girl. It poured with rain but it did not matter! Enjoyed feeding the pigs, betting on the sheep racing and handling some very sweet little animals.. best of all the wonderful hay barn where she could climb, jump and crawl under the huge bales... no tat, no rides, no noisy games machines just perfect blissful country sounds and nature on a real working farm. All the staff were extremely friendly and patient with the little ones and the lovely lady in the farm admissions shop was so welcoming to us. Gorgeous food and amazing freshly pressed apple juice.. we will definitely be back! Thank you for a memorable day.

Middle Farm seems to have everything and is a lovely place to spend a few hours. The farm shop is well stocked with quality produce, the selection of cakes being particularly good! The Cider Barn has an honestly unrivalled collection of cider and allows tasting before purchase, they also stock local ales and craft beer. The open farm has a variety of animals and activities, which change throughout the day, as well as play areas for little ones to enjoy.

This is a farm shop, restaurant and petting zoo. The farm shop is one of the best around with a huge range of specialist cheeses, fresh veg and a butchers. The restaurant is good although perhaps nothing special. The petting zoo is part of a real working farm so you can cows been milked, chickens run free and there's a barn with sheep, goats and pigs. The farm can be muddy and the kids absolutely loved it whem compared the more sanitised places

There's also a cider shop which must have one of the best collections in the country! 5 stars for that.
