It was a lovely treat to be able to go to Middle Farm today, with everything that's going on the world!
We sat outside with a delicious takeaway coffee and homemade steak and stilton pasties and sausage rolls. The animals cannot be seen due to Covid 19, but there were still ducks and geese around to delight over.
The shop had a good selection of meat, cheeses, bread, cakes, veg, fruit, chutneys etc, something for everyone and well worth a visit.
The "Long Man" is a short drive away and is a great walk to work off that pasty! The ladies in the shop, very kindly put the meat that I had purchased in the fridge for me and I picked it up on the way back.
We will certainly be coming back again.

Great place for a day out. Good for kids with farm animals. Lots of different kinds of chickens. Gift shop and organic food. Very nice. You can eat here, it gets crowded in the tourist season but you can eat outside. Cider barn and plants to buy. An old established organic farrm, they were doing it long before it was fashionable.

A great range of local foods and delicacies to suit all tastes. Fantastic selection of ciders and perrys, and a great cafe. Plus farm animals and activities to see. Well worth a visit anytime, but especially if you're looking for that special food treat for Christmas and New Year.

Middle Farm is my absolute favorite place to visit on free weekend. Never disappointed with the food, service, and just lovely environment there. The have the best pastries and if you're a fan of beer/cider you're in for a treat! Don't forget to head into the shop and get the best farm raised eggs and meat. You haven't had a poached egg until you've done them with Middle Farm eggs, oh and the cheese scones are AMAZING! Stilton and Steak pasty is also killer. On a recent visit there was a pumpkin soup and pumpkin chai lattes that were both out of this world. Writing this reviews makes me keen to go again soon :)

Quaint cafe in a courtyard surrounded by plants. The food is slightly on the expensive side but not majorly. The apricot flapjack was one of the nicest flapjack I’ve ever had and I recommend the freshly pressed apple juice.

Great place to see animals up close. The farm isn't too big and it's fairly accessible even for those on wheelchairs.

£6 entrance to the farm, last admission is one hour before close.

Cider shop was nice addition to the farm, great atmosphere and if you ask the owner /shop keeper they are keen to point you to the right cider. I had no issue with the cider shop as some other people have mentioned in earlier reviews. Prices varies with the cider, ranges from ~150p/L to ~350p/L.

Visited middle farm on Sunday 7th April, to feed the lambs. A lifetime dream of mine. Was terribly disappointed, having been pushed about by a very brusque woman who Was overseeing things, I spent a full 10 seconds, helping the feeder to hold the bottle for the lamb ,was then told to move on for the next person. Really not the experience I was hoping for.

The cafe is very reasonably priced with delicious food and a cosy atmosphere. The farm shop and gift shop are both lovely with unique products. We didn't get a chance to see the animals due to personal reasons but will definitely be back to do so!

My 6 year old son is autistic and non verbal. We have been going to Middle Farm regularly for 4 years now. The staff are wonderful to us and my little boy adores the animals especially the cows, the pigs and the play area. The restaurant is cosy and warm with a fireplace and tasty food. Middle farm is very special to us xxx
