It's been a good a good few years since I visited here with my children. There has been some massive investment put into this attraction over the years and they have made some fantastic improvements! I cant wait to take the kids back here again as they really enjoyed it! If your in the local area this has to be one to visit and there is plenty to do!

I do really like this place good value for money, even better if using tescos clubcards, couple of downsides, the queuing system to get in isnt very well designed, they need a couple more kiosk or something, also the kids indoor play areas definately need air conditioning. The new outdoor castle is amazing. Theres lots to do there.

We are annual members. My eldest daughter can't contain herself at the mention of knock hatch. Her favourite is the soft play, followed by the slides hall. I enjoy it all with her too. We go on everything and have a wonderful time. Knock Hatch is all round epic for children. I have given only 3 stars rather than five as unfortunately the food facilities are very 'school canteen-esque' although the ice cream selection is great, the soft play eat-in is all processed food, chips, empty carbohydrates, heavy sugared snack selection, though tea and coffee is very satisfying. A bit more imagination, quality and flavour with the food could go a long way, although I realise my families food tastes may be different from lots of others. Another small issue is the young staff, some are incredible with the children, really really chatty, happy, friendly and brilliant, but occasionally you get one or two who just seem like they should not be there, for instance, we went today and there was a slim young, tallish, ginger girl at the reception desk. She could not even bring herself to say hello, or have a nice time or even a single word to me or my daughter, had a sneer rather than a smile and was so miserable, even to my wife and other daughter who entered earlier, making us all feel quite unwelcome, I think you should always be strategic with who you put front of house. Lastly there does not seem to be any recycling happening. All the rubbish and recyclable waste seems to go in GW bins. I asked a lady where can I recycle these waste goods today, she said, right here and opened a bin liner full of plastics, recyclables, landfill waste and all sorts. Not a form of recycling collection. A place this size that gets quite busy in this day and age really needs to start thinking about its carbon footprint. Otherwise, a superb afternoon out with the kids.

Had a wonderful day at knockhatch in the half term, there was so much to do and see. Once into the park the queues where at reasonable times. My kids loved the Dragons Castle and the Lost World play barn. My son Alfie was even brave enough to go down the big red slide. All the staff where great ambassadors to the park and seemed to be enjoying themselves just at much as the children. At the end of the day we purchased goods from the gift shop, the majority of the items and reasonable prices. One of the girls in particular in the shop was excellent when helping my daughter chose which teddy she wanted. We will defiantly be back

Excellent value for money. Lots of different attractions and variety of animals that suits ages from young to old. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the food queue organisation is very poor. By the time the queue has gone down after collecting your hot food by the time you reach the till the food is nearly cold. If you want hot drinks you have to wait slowly for someone to make them your food is now completely cold. There is only one till.. why not reverse the queue system so that you pay for what you want including having any hot drinks made then get a ticket.. or give the kitchen server a ticket for what is to be made up for order. The quality of food is average. I liked the old system of order food and it was cooked and your number was called so you received it hot and also you could get a whole pizza not just a slice like now.

Visited here for the first time on Wednesday and had a lovely day out. Quite a variety of things to do so would probably suit most families with young children. A few animals to visit and look at- quite a variety of owls which was interesting. My children really enjoyed the play areas and the big pillows. It was a lovely sunny day so enjoyed a picnic on the lawn. Quite a lot of space for children to run around and enjoy themselves. I must say the only downside for us which could have been managed better was the entry. With it being the holidays, there was a huge number of people queuing to get in. We had prepaid tickets online and the large sign over the entrance clearly showed two entry points. However all you could see was a massive crowd of people appearing to be all in one long queue. Told by two different people that everybody had to go into the queue and then the queues split when you get to the penned area. This was incorrect so we spent a good 15 minutes in the long queue before someone else told us different. It would have been useless to have a member of staff at that time in the day managing entry. When we got to the door finally, we was waiting for quite a while exactly where we should be but then a lady popped her head around to inform us we needed to go to a different door- the door that clearly was for those queuing to buy tickets. Bit of a let down at the start of the day but didn’t stop us having a great time. Will possibly return as not bad value for money.
