Great place to take kids. Food OK but best to take a packed lunch. Probably the best kids day out for the money for many miles around

We have taken our kids to Knockhatch so many times! Every time we go they have added something new. This time it was the new play area wooden castle. It was incredible. The whole facility is incredible and the children love it. I would taken any children of any age up to 12 years. The only disappointing points about Knockhatch is that the staff serving the food and drinks in the play areas are unbelievably slow, like so slow. Also I don't think, for the number of people it attracts, there aren't nearly enough toilets. Whenever there are toilets, they are small and cramped, and because there are not many, always a queue. But apart from that it is brilliant. I will be going back.

We took our 3-year-old and hoped the facilities would be similar to Drucillas. They were not. Many of the attractions were not finished and looked shabby. The animal caged were small and there were very few birds and animals on show. The was an owl in a small cage, who looked very unhappy

Brilliant place to visit if you have kids - ours are 5 and 11. Plenty of space to zoom around, great outdoor play areas including an epicly huge wooden castle replete with a fire breathing dragon at it's base. There's zip lining, a giant waterslide on mats (age and height restrictions) and a smaller slide in rubber rings. The small zoo area is good and the animals are well cared for. There's a great indoor play barn with a cafe so adults can sit and relax while the kids go loopy. There's also a huge indoor play area called lost world with giant rope bridges up high and adrenalin inducing slides which the kids adored. There's plenty of loos and food areas and you can also bring your own picnics. My son just reminded me there's a go cart area, outdoor supervised high trampoline jump and a cute little shallow pool with a pirate ship for the little ones. My kids loved the jumping pillows which are massive. Lots to see and do, good value and free parking. Highly recommended.

This was the first time we have visited this year and certainly did not disappoint. There are new attractions and upgrade of other attractions. The new fort play area and zip wire where exceptional. The new go carts were really good. The staff they employ are only young but they enjoy there work and as kind and helpful. We Can not wait for the summer holidays so we can go again

I hosted my daughter's 13th birthday party here and we had such a good time, I can't recommend it enough. It does get popular so I would advise booking the day before to avoid being turned away on busy days. I have been coming here for years and there has been new attractions added year after year. Recently a new Lost World play barn and huge outside Castle with a high walk way have been constructed. It's cheaper than the local Drusilla's park and, in many ways, more fun and there's more space to relax.

We took our 4 year old to Knockhatch with family for her birthday celebration. I hadn't been there in years.
What a park. The entrance fee is reasonable. You have to pay for just 3 extra attractions once inside which are the high wire trampolines, the large go karts and I think the avalanche slide. The rowing boats are amazing and a lovely way to spend half an hour going through and around the islands on the lakes. So much to do both inside with the play areas and out with splash area, dragons castle and the farm to visit. Honestly an amazing day you wont regret. They also accept Tesco vouchers which is a nice touch. I have read not much to do for under 2's which I would say is true due to the height restrictions, but I think knockhatch know that which is why under 2's are free to enter. Only 1 negative and that's the food and drink prices. I havnt taken away a star or anything because you come to expect the prices, my view and I think it's fair is that it costs so much to run a park like this and staff it they have to make some additional funds. Fair play. Take some spending money and have loads of fun

This was brilliant, the kids had so much fun, there was loads to do and in a (mostly...) entirely safe environment. Fully recommend going, the dinosaur slides are a must!

Knockhatch's James really looked after us as we got in the Meerkat enclosure on a sunny Saturday. It was just the two of us and the meerkats didn't disappoint.

He kept us informed with all the stories about these meerkats and really made sure we had a lovely day. The meerkats were awesome!

The meerkats loved their carrot and James was my hero and fed them their chicken legs...

Thoroughly recommend the Meerkat experience.

If you have kids Knockhatch will be perfect for them.

We love it here.. so much to do.. indoor/outdoor plays areas.. jumping pillows<br>. Water slide.. boating lake.. castle playground.. vertical slides.. simulator.. Animals and pretty much anything else you would want from a day out. Best to pre.book online to get a better rate. And on orange days there is more open.

Try to get the 2 for 1 tickets as this makes it much more reasonable and pick a green day (or whichever colour it is when everything is open) as otherwise you can feel a bit cheated!

First visit to Knockhatch near Hailsham for myself and my 7yr old daughter. We had a fantastic fun filled day, so many activities to do and animals to see. We got there quite early so did a lot of the rides and activities before it got too busy. We took a picnic with us and sat out on the grass enjoying the sunshine, there is food available at various points around the park including the burger bar, hungry toad cafe and cannon area cafe and plenty of ice cream and drinks stands. All the staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. Our favourite part of the park was the dragon castle and the animals. Keep your speed down when you drive in and out of the park as the road is narrow in places with some blind corners.
