Excellent experience. Hats off to the management for adapting to Covid guidance. We felt very safe during the whole day. There were more staff on site to monitor and they were all smart and polite. The children loved the paddling pool (20 min slot), Dino safari, trampolines, castle play area, owls (all looked healthy), zip wires and play areas. Excellent picnic areas. The best day out we have had all year.

upon arrival we were greeted very politely! However when we said we had a carer and bought all of the paperwork the lady on the desk said we had to pay for the carer. Everywhere we go we normally pay for the vulnerable child and then the carer goes free. The lady at the front desk said we had to pay for a carer there and then. We booked online because on the website it says they are not taking any non pre booked customers. APPARENTLY if you pay on the door the carer goes free? How does this work then? If your being forced to pre book because of slot times but then not allowing the carer to go free because we didn’t pay at the desk? Anyway we paid because we’ll we were put on the spot and drove 2 hours away for the day. Also I did ring up the day before to ask about all this however no one answered. Moving on with the day we knew certain things would be shut but it was quite a lot when you get there and see? I don’t understand though because Boris has allowed soft play to open? And Thorpe park? And other places so why we were curious as to why they didn’t open everything?
Furthermore when going to the attractions that were open there was an overflow of people! I mean the limit must have been exceeded today! You couldn’t even social distance with the amount of people there! Surely by not opening most of the attractions you would have less people? Eventually my siblings managed to go in the splash park they had.whilst they were in there I decided to grab a drink because it was a hot day and I needed some water! I was queuing for the whole time they were waiting and in the splash park!! Approx time of 30 mins!!! The only good thing about today was the fact the go karts were free due to so many attractions being shut!! However £4.95 a kart is quite expensive when you only get about 3 mins on them on a normal day! Overall this has put me and my family going anywhere until everything is open and the country is safe!

We bought memberships as my 4yo birthday present literally 2 weeks before lockdown so we've been so excited to go back! We went a few weeks ago just after they opened back up and WOW all the staff are so lovely all the precautions they've put in place due to covid are fab they've even given the go karts free as some parts of the park still can't open which is amazing they've also extended our passes which they really didn't need to do given the circumstances! but Is very much appreciated!
They have a booking scheme on their website at the moment for members and non members which is so easy to use and you can book as many trips as you like!
Would definitely recommend to anyone even families with younger children!

I booked tickets here on an extremely hot day to take my grandson as the last time we came here we had such a good time. We had to pre book tickets due to CV19 which is totally understandable and we had to pick a time slot to enter the park, this gave me the impression that they were trying to limit the numbers entering to allow social distancing. The staff as we entered were great, we were given good instructions which were simple to follow, keep left, wash your hands and socially distance. Simple yes? For me but apparently no one else as soon as they got past the first 10 foot into the park! As we went around the corner into the picnic area and trampolines etc I was mortified at how many people were in this place! However we went around the further parts of the animal fields to try to escape the crowds but alas no one else wanted to keep their distance. We stayed until it just got too ridiculous to try and distance from people. Staff great, park great, the problem here is that when your car park and the over flow car park are packed and you’re in the middle of a global pandemic, you’ve got too many people in the park. I appreciate they’re trying to make lost money back but not at the cost of public safety, sorry.

Had a wonderful day here today with my little one and her two friends. So much to do for the price it costs to get in, even with a few attractions shut due to COVID they’ve handled it so well. Really recommend !

Today I visited knockhatch with my young granddaughters yes I was worried one how safe would the park be two would it be worth going.
Let me say it was amazing I felt safe there. There are so many hand sanitizing stations brilliant
You keep to the left which is clearly marked
Every where there are staff supervising ie.toilet and rides
Notices on doors and windows
Amazing out door equipment my granddaughters had a brilliant day
In the cafe by entrance and exit what a wonderful member of staff, each time I went in she was so lovely asking me "was I having a nice day where we ok was everything ok"
Absolute credit to knockhatch
I would like to say a massive thank you for keeping and making us feel safe

Well what can I say...one of the best days we've had out as a family in a LONG time!
It was a nice drive from the Southeast coast of Kent and on arrival there were staff who were very welcoming directing cars to parking spaces, leaving a space inbetween to adhere to their social distancing guidelines.
The entry price was reasonable at just over ÂŁ30 for me, my wife and my son (my other 2 boys were free as they're a lot younger). We paid in advance online so it was quick getting in.
The place was well mapped out with so much to do still despite some of the attractions being closed due to government guidelines reference Covid-19. The go-karts and the rowing boats were my favourites but my boys really enjoyed the castle activity area and the water park area.
We got some burgers, chips and drinks for lunch which again was reasonable at around ÂŁ25 for the 4 of us (youngest still on milk!). The food was really tasty too.
The animals to see were fantastic and great to walk through with the wallabies out in the open.
I must say though that the main thing that stood out for me was the friendliness and professionalism of every staff member there! Throughout the day we were greeted with natural smiles and interactions with staff that you could tell were happy within their job and this then created a fabulous atmosphere. So we would like to give a huge personal thanks to all staff there.
We look forward to visiting here again in the future.

We had a wonderful day today at Knockhatch. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great rides included in the entry price. Brilliant for very little kids but also older ones. The Dragon castle keeps children busy for ages. A few queues but all very bearable. The paddling pool is really entertaining and the big water slide is fun for both children (height restrictions) and adults alike. The animals are a great attraction too, especially the owl show. Definitely recommended for families with children of all ages.

I visited with a teenager and a young child and after not visiting for at least 10 years I wasn’t sure what to expect. I couldn’t have been happier with our visit. Easy to book tickets online, carefully thought out cleaning/social distancing and activities that suited everyone. What made a huge difference (and I hope this is fed back) is that all the young people that work here were polite, respectful, helpful and very, VERY cheerful! They are a credit to Knockhatch and although some jobs must be extremely tedious (manning the toilets) they were all smiling and helpful. Thank you Knockhatch for a great day - we will certainly visit again.
