Lots to do in the park, soft play, animals, water slide, rowing boats, play areas etc. Good value as we spent 6 hours there going from one activity to another. We camped at the site next door which was great value for money with helpful staff. Highly recommended.

This place is amazing. So much to do indoors and out. There is a massive soft play indoors with more than enough seating. Out doors has animals, some small rides and a Hugh outdoor adventure park plus lots more. The food is reasonable priced and very nice. The only issue is that the road to get in there needs resurfacing and the parking area gets full very quickly on busy days.

It's a fairly long drive off the Hailsham roundabout but it's worth the effort. The costs are not too high £28 for three people and the extras reasonable. Stayed from 11.00 to 17.30 and could have stayed longer. The go carts were the favourite bit but the children also learnt to row on the lake.
Food outlets and picnic areas available.
A highly recommended attraction for a day out for active children, aged 9 and 11.

This has got to rank as one of the best days we as a family of four have had in the recent years - before you commit PLEASE look at their website & check what attractions are open to avoid disappointment. We visited in August & had a blast all day. Our teenagers went on the Bungee Tramploine, Go-Karts (as did I), the Laser Game - these I all prebooked (at a small cost each) with the laser game the only one requiring a pre-arranged timeslot on arrival. We also attacked the crazy golf, jumping pillows, the water slide (soaked my backside) & we fell about laughing on the boating lake after rowing straight into the trees!

Knockhatch caters for all ages & it's a great day out - not so good in the rain though in my opinion. We will definitely be going back again next year during the summer break & the staff are all so polite & helpful!

Just Do It!!

Visited for the first time it's a lovely park with lots to keep the children entertained we stayed pretty much all day.
Would advise booking in advance or using cash or Tesco tokens for a faster entrance.

The animal area is fab and you have a chance to feed them if you buy the food at the entrance gate. My daughter loved the up close encounters and got to hold a snake.

The birds of prey show is worth a watch. Special mention to a young man I think named Owen who was very knowledgeable when we spoke to him about the owls. He also went the extra mile when people took pictures to make sure they got nice ones and was great with the kids he clearly had a great bond with the birds too.

My daughter loves the water slide and demon drop it does get busy at the peak of day but no where near as bad as other big theme parks. Just make sure you check before you go as in low season not all attractions are open.

We took a picnic which was no bother lots of seating or lots of space on the grass in the big adventure playground.

There are additional activities which you can pay for my daughter did rock climbing which she really enjoyed.

Knockhatch is a wonderful place to go with the family lots to see and do for children.
It's well priced and very clean.
The animals are lovely and the food yummy.
Only thing I would say is the indoors toilets are disgusting and needs major update men and women should have there own toilets.
Was told by a young girl at the shop there was an age limit on the go carts but when we got there the man said any age could go on so we went back to get a ticket only to be told we couldn't have one as children was too young when there was little children riding them which made us cross.
It would good if pets corner and the bike ride was open at all times the queues was massive for this and we didn't wait.
Also the rubber that's on the ground by the bouncy pillows needs changing to something softer on your feet.

I hate places like this, but as long as the children are happy, I'm happy. We've had some successful birthday visits in October but today, bang in the middle of the summer, it was just too busy. My older child, who has autism, couldn't cope with the crowds and ended up going back to the car. If you have a child who is sensitive to noise and crowds, be warned. If you're child is more of a knockabout type who loves rides and doesn't get freaked out by queuing, then it's absolutely fine.

We prepaid and looked forward to entry without delays as promised. Not to be as we were met with organised chaos and it took about 30 minutes to get in but ironically, those who had not pre booked got in a lot quicker. This was because the girl on the pre booked counter was involved in helping in the shop. Apart from this initial set back all went well until we queued for coffee and snacks in Froggies where again the management decision to have insufficient space at the ordering/pay point created a bottleneck. The service counter is far too small and cluttered to serve about 50+ tables. We fully expected to wait for some services and walked away from the boating lake and train simulator but where we were able to get to rides they were well worth it. The animals looked very healthy and thrilled the younger visitor especially.

Overall Knockhatch is well worth a visit and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Decent quality day out, family fun, visit and feed the farm animals always fun, the lambs or the lamas will scoff the food right out of your hand, there's all kinds of birds, rabbits, meerkats and all. The bird of prey demonstrations are great if that's you thing, you'll love it.

Adventure wise, the play area is pretty good, but watch out, as with the climbing wall and water slide it's only open on orange days, basically peak time.

Food is available but my advice would be to take a picnic, there are loads of pleasant spots.

Free mini golf is good, not a great course, but included in the admission price so can't complain

Jumping beds get massively busy but will keep them amused for a time.

There's a simulator ride and some play areas which are again free so well worth while.

You'll pay extra for bungee trampolines, laser shooting, karts and climbing wall, but at £2/3 it's not too steep.

Top tip, head for the boating lake early to avoid the dreaded queues, if you get into the park at 10:00, head for the boats and get straight on, otherwise expect to wait for 1 hour, (maybe more!), there is no time limit on the boats, even when busy so waiting times can be horrendous.

There can be queues for karts, bungee tramps and climbing so factor these times in you day.

There are some indoor play areas and adjoining cafes which are a godsend if your caught in a shower or indeed need to take shelter from the burning sun, or simply pop in for a drinks break

You have to book all extras at the point of entry, so consider planning who wants what and when or face trips back and forth to the entrance points to book activities.

As with many attractions book online to save cash on entrance fees.

These days £30 for a family day out is pretty good, allow another £15/20 for the activities, but on a fine day this is a great attraction.

Toilets facilities nice and clean, though the park would benefit to have more of them dotted about

All in all, pretty good value day out for families with kids under 9, though kids up to about 14 will find something of interest.

To start with I was really pleased with how easy it was to buy tickets online, but then when I started to queue in the prepaid section this process quickly declined.

The queue took longer than the "pay on the day" queue and took a good 30-45 mins to get in. Once in I could see why - one till to process everyone's booking and large groups, gift shop purchases and snacks. Surely it's worth the outlay of a second till?

It might seem a bit whiny, but by the time we got in we were all a bit disgruntled and tried to keep our toddler engaged.

There is plenty to see and do but today was so busy we ended up missing out on anything that had separate queues - the boat trip didn't move in 15 minutes of queuing.

The grounds are great and I can imagine on a quieter day it would be better, but surely a sunny day in summer holiday period should result in additional staff?

Visited knock hatch adventure park today with my husband and 3 children, brought tickets online, had the BEST time there! Shame we didn't have more time there, arrived at 11.30am and really didn't want to leave. So much to do and see!
We all really enjoyed the massive pillow jumping cushions, adventure playgrounds, climbing wall, train simulator ride, wave runner, rowing boat lake, 2 x owl shows, very reasonably priced ice creams..trampolines, caterpillar train ride..
Was a bit dispointed that there was no small animals to hold or stroke as we went to go the animal encounters show at 4-4.30 and it was closed..
All in all, highly highly recommended, would love to go back again.

We have today visited knock hatch . We arrived at 10 and left just before it closed at 5.30. We booked our tickets on line which saved us 20% on the cost of tickets. There were 8 people in our party the youngest being 7 and the oldest 61. We have had a fantastic day with something for everyone. There were plenty of activities to do which were free as well as activities that were at a reasonable price. You can take a picnic and have it in almost any where in the park or you can have cooked food at very reasonable prices and delicious to eat. We found the staff to be very helpful and informative with any of the activities that we did. In all we had a fantastic day with amazing weather and will certainly be visiting again. Thank you knockhatch for a wonderful day.

What a fantastic family day out. Something for all ages. From the kids enjoying all the animal petting opportunities, to minikarting, quadrapilla, bouncy pillow and multiple indoor and outdoor play areas, to the older kids (adults) enjoying the go-karts, waterslide and rowing boats. The owl display was brilliant.

What really made our day though was the wonderful staff, each and every one we had the pleasure of dealing with was friendly and helpful. From those entertaining the kids, to the informative animal handlers, and all those in the shops/stands. They were all amazing. Thank you for making the day.

If you haven't guessed it already this place is awesome! If I could give 6 stars I would!

Had a great time with the family, but be prepared, there are some extras to pay for and queues can be long at times, especially for the boats

We love this place as it's very reasonably priced enterence fees. There are many animals for the children to see and things to do. You do have to pay extra for some activities, but they are really good value. As an example, go-karts, and the little electric quad bikes etc. There is enough to see and do, although it's more like a farm / zoo with birds of pray. All the staff are so helpful and nice too. They also have a massive soft play and soft ball cannons which the children love. So glad we visited again well done knockhatch.

My husband and I visited Knockhatch with 4 grandchildren aged 7-14. We bought our tickets on line the night before our visit ( trusting the weather forecast) thereby saving 20% on the entry fee.
I must admit that initially my heart sank when the 14 year old gave one of those looks that only a 14 year old girl can give! However, once we started to explore, all we saw were smiles. We actually had one of the best days out that we have ever had! And we have had a great deal over the years.
Knockhatch is very deceptive. It looks low key, but it just gives and gives. The attractions were suitable for a variety of ages and interests. Including adults who like to see owl flying displays! The additional activities such as go karts and bungee jump were very reasonably priced .We spent 6 hours there and only left because the park was closing. And we still hadn't seen everything.
The main comments I would like to make are that the staff were amazing. Their patience with very excited children was awesome! They were also firm when required ( which I admired) Secondly , the food outlets weren't pushed in our faces. Obviously, taking 4 active children out for a day can be expensive so we took a picnic. Which we left in the car and were able to go back to collect later. The children didn't even notice the additional food places. Also, there were lots of toilets and hand washing places. Plus at least one drinking water fountain.
I agree with one commenter that the two main unsupervised activities ( jumping pillows and Aqua slide) were very popular and some children didn't always share as much as we would have hoped, but we just left and returned later when they weren't so busy. There were so many other activities to do, that it didn't matter.
Possibly my only negative comment would be that the rowing boats seemed to be unregulated in regards to how much time people could spend out on the water. Consequently the queue was very slow moving. The boats also weren't easy to row.
Apart from that, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I just wish that we lived closer!

Initially I thought that the cost was quite expensive but speaking to others I should have booked on line the day before where I would have received a 20% discount. Visited by a party of 2 Adults and 4 Children aged between 5 and 11 we all thought that there was something for everyone. I would say that children between the ages of 7 - 9 would gain the optimum value. Take a change of clothes for the kids as they will get wet and very dirty. When you arrive you will find a display board which will list the days avents and plan your day around the park then you will get the best out of your day. The only downside I would say is that there were two areas in the park that need supervision by staff. One is the bouncy pillow area - TOO MANY CHILDREN and a number of bloody noses! and the grass ring slide area where children are very reluctant to hand over the rings - I had to take charge in order for other children to 'have their turn'. Make sure the children have socks on for the soft play zone and hope that the weather is good for you so that you can enjoy the outside play areas too. We took a picnic but there are lots of places to buy food, drinks and snacks from if you prefer. The kids loved the animals and birds only wish we had arrived even earlier (I think we were the last to leave the park). If you can only afford one 'big' day out I think that this park represents good value for money and all the kids agreed!

Lovely little place to go, not sure it's really suitable for four teenagers but our 8 year old enjoyed it, go carting was well worth doing and at a decent price, lots of different animals and a nice play area, jumping pillows were great as was the wave runner, thumbs up on entry price, food and activities, only downfall was the signage and narrow track way to get into the adventure park

We live close to here so visit a lot. I have taken children aged 10,7 and preschoolers here and there is something there for all these ages. If it's raining, the froggies indoor play does get very busy but there's loads of seating and the cafe is good.

The owners spend a lot of money and are constantly updating. We have been members for four years and so much for kids of all ages to do. The waterslide and simulator are awesome and the indoor play areas are just some of the things to do. Highly recommended!

We are local to Knockhatch and took the opportunity to book their Quad bike experience.
The course takes you around a circular track to familiarise you with your quad then it's off into the woods and surrounding area for an exhilarating ride. It was absolutely brilliant and all four of us had a wonderful time. We will be trying out their other experiences when we are able.
