A group of us went here for the first time last week. Our children range from 15 - 6 and there was plenty for all of them today. My only bit of advise would be not to book the rock climbing as an extra if your children don't like queuing for too long. Only 3 out of the 8 tickets purchased were used as they had to wait over an hour to get on. The younger ones got bored waiting so went off and played in the park. Great value for money.

The farm it itself is excellent with fantastic rides, lots of happy animals and experiences. What let us down was we started out badly, we had to queue for nearly an hour just to get in as not all the tills were open! We probably should have left at this point but we had driven for nearly an hour to get there. The problem is the queuing to get on anything, the farm was over occupied and all the rides had at least a half hour wait, not ideal for children and an expensive day if your just paying to queue. Such a shame it's not better managed. Other European attractions give you a ticket with an allocated time of the rides so no queues. We paid for rock climbing and again queued for 40 min!! Other farms allocate a time for a paid service. Good picnicking facilities and food reasonably priced. More staff needed for the attractions. Over all I would recommend but I would only return on an inset day so you could actually get on things as kids left disappointed. Better value for money than drusillas.

Excellent fun for all the family! Lots to do for all ages from ball pits to watersides. Farmyard petting zoo had a variety of animals to see and interact with. Take a picnic or buy food on site because you will be here all day! All of this for a very reasonable entrance fee. Would happily recommend this place to everyone!

We took our family here on Bank Holiday Monday and it was fantastic. I had driven past this a few times when my children were smaller and since moving to Sussex recently I'd visited Drusillas, Paradise Park and various farms. However, Knockhatch is just brilliant! The kids had a ball! We had great weather, which always helps, but the facilities and attractions here are wonderful. There is a good balance of indoor and outdoor stuff to do and for a range of ages. The farm animals were the first thing we saw and the fact that you can feed them and pet them made my daughter's day. Then there was the animal encounters experience where they got to stroke an owl and hold a snake! The whole park was clean and the toilets seemed new and well maintained. The lost world indoor slide area was magnificent, with life size dinosaurs and rope walkways. The different slides entertained my kids for almost an hour. They also loved the Pirate cove paddling pool and the water chute slide, which my son braved! The playgrounds were all very different and for an extra £3 each the kids got to do the bungee trampolining. The time they had on these was generous and the staff on it really looked after the kids and only set the bungee for what they were comfortable with. We ran out of time to do the soft play areas! Areas for picnic were clean and had shade and there was plenty of grassy areas too. It didn't feel too busy, even though it was a peak day. Ice creams and food were reasonably priced if you didn't have a picnic. We paid £1.80 for a big feast, far less than we spent at a festival recently. The rides were all free and apart from having to buy some socks for the slide area, we spent little else. A wonderful day out and the kids have demanded we come back again. Better value, cleaner and more to do than Godstone farm and other competitors. I recommend this place to everyone with kids between 0 and 12 years.

My girlfriends and I, 5 adults and 7 children decided to spend the day at Knockhatch on Bank Holiday Monday, we left armed with packed lunch and plenty of cash to enjoy our day. We had all booked online so our admission was fine and we were enjoying our day. The animal areas are small, with some empty areas and a lot of waiting for some parts to be open but enables me the children to get closer and the children were happy.

I have not visited Knockhatch for some years and it has vastly improved but this makes it all the more busy and keeping an eye on the children difficult at times. On the whole, it has improved but the water area is disgusting. Under no circumstances would I let my children play in this vicinity, it is dirty, the area surrounding is in a disgusting state and the water green and unhygenic. I would avoid this at all costs. Drusillas has a wonderful water area which enables the children to cool down without water collecting into dirty pools and causing a hygiene risk.

My main gripe however was the Froggies indoor play area. The area in itself is good with interactive play for small children but the staff in this locality are rude, and downright bullies. My friends and I, decided to sit and enjoy a coffee feeding our 3 year old their own food whilst my husband ordered food in excess of £15. The young male staff member (Dalton) approached both my friend and I ordering us to remove our child's sandwich immediately else and said it was not allowed. I told him that my husband had ordered food and that my 3 year old would not eat junk food from the counter. I told him that they were not causing any disturbance we were sitting near the back and that the soft play had barely any tables attended at lunchtime less than half full. He then said he would have to get his manager to come out. A beastly woman by the name of Carolyn, attended and demanded that we sit outside. I again pointed out that my husband was ordering a vast quantify of food and drink from the food counter that I would not give to my youngest. She pointedly told me that we were not to provide our youngest son (3!) with food. My son was sitting quietly eating grapes and that he would have to sit outside if we wanted him to eat his own food. It was 26 degree heat!

Both my friend and I sat agog at the rude impertinence of this woman as she stood over us in a bullying manner and said she would not leave the table until we removed our food from the table and left. My husband returned with 3 plates of junk food and coffees in excess of £15! She said that my son could sit outside and eat but not in froggies under no circumstances regardless of whether we had spent a fortune on food. When I removed my sons grapes from him and explained that this woman was not allowing him to eat them, he began to cry... I had to sit and eat in front of my children and refuse to allow them his own food in his own boxes. What a wonderful level of customer service.. Any child with Aspergers or Autistism would have been extremely traumatised!

When my friend said to her son (who was eating a small triangular sandwich that he was being a good boy and eating his sandwich and that we would leave when he had finished, Carolyn pointedly remarked that my friends son was not being a good boy he was being a naughty boy!. He is a 3 year old little boy.. You can only imagine how this made him feel.. Encouraging and welcoming children as a MANAGER to use this area was clearly not within her remit.

My friend indicated to Carolyn that she found her behaviour bullying and rude and that she had also paid for goods from Froggies. Carolyn said that if my friend did not stop her son from eating his small sandwich, she would have her removed from the park.

When I asked for Carolyn to write down their names so that I could make a complaint she refused and said she would not. I can only describe the behaviour of this place as despicable towards children, unwelcoming, unfriendly and downright rude and unprofessional.

Any level of Customer Focus, Customer Service, Customer centred care has clearly been removed or their staff have had a frontal lobotomy when it comes to common sense and practical care towards their customers and the needs of their small children.

Whilst Knockhatch is ok and there are some good areas for children to play and use, having spent an awful lot of money on what I can only describe as mediocre at best to be treated in the discourteous, bullish, impudent, impertinent manner is unforgiveable.

I would not be using Knockhatch again in a hurry!

Had a lovely day here, we were staying at knockhatch camp site and got BOGOF on entry, so it was very cheap for us to go in. Staff were friendly and even let us go back and have lunch and then return later in afternoon with our hand stamps. Hadn’t been there for awhile and it’s really improved since last visit. We had a group of 19 year old and they really enjoyed their day!

We went on a roasting hot bank holiday and even though it was a busy day numbers wise, everything was so spread out you hardly knew it was busy.

This was our second visit and my only grumble is that there is just so much to do. In our 2 visits we have still not seen it all. We look forward to trying to get around it all some time.

It's excellent value for money.

Driven past this place countless times en route to Eastbourne but decided to visit. Booked online and paid £45 for a family of 5 plus paid for some extra activities for our 7 year old son. The activities are so varied and there is something for all ages. We stopped for ice cream and I was pleased to see that for once, it wasn't overpriced like most places. My 3 year old twin girls had a lovely time on the jumping pillows, stroking wallabies, at the indoor soft play and in the dinosaur bit. We took our own food and ate in the designated picnic area. 5 hours spent and we didn't see all of it. We'll be back!!

What a great venue tucked over half a mile away from the main road and in the middle of the countryside. Once through the main entrance there is so many activities for children of all ages to have fun on and the vast majority of them are totally free and included in the admission price. We even took our own packed lunch and again there were plenty of places both under cover and outside to sit and eat the lunch. The day we went the new dinosaur barn had just opened which has some amazing slides and high level walkways for both children and adults to have fun on. Overall a good day and good value for money compared with other similar locations in the area.

Took my granddaughter here for the day. So much to do and see. I thought it was a bit expensive for older people as not able to do much except go on the rowing lake. But my granddaughter had a wonderful time feeding the animals, trying out the different rides and paddling in the pool. Suggest you bring a picnic and make a day of it. Great place for younger children with an indoor soft play area.
