A really nice day out with the kids. Don't be fooled by the entry price, you need tokens which are a pound each, and a simple kids ride costs two tokens per child.
Watch out for the face painting, she charges a small fortune!
The shows they put on are roughly 2 to 3 tokens and last 30 to 40 minutes, consisting of magic shows, dancing, story telling. Which are good fun for kids and adults, and undoubtedly the cheapest way to get through the day.
I'd take my own food. Whoever designed the restaurant should be fired! The entrance and exit is right by the queuing area, so it's manic with everyone walking into eachother. And slow.
There are free playgrounds and so on.
Budget for the rides, pace yourself. It is worth a try.

Brilliant place even on a cold day as lots of indoor play areas. A nice selection of animals for children to see and feed. A lovely day out.

Just excellent. Many new additional attractions from a few years back, and some of it still closed for the winter.
Great day out, so much to do and at just over £20 for a family of 3, very much affordable.
