After a long wait, we finally decided to visit our neighbour -The Gr/eat Greek restaurant with my colleagues. Food was cooked to perfection, plenty for your money. Service was great, the girl was lovely, chatty in a good way and helpful with menu options. Even with a mask on, you could tell it was still 'service with a smile.'
We started with some lovely breads served with huge amount of salads, tzatziki and other dips. Enjoyed it to its full with our drinks. And for the mains, we shared 2 platters which are Aegean Seafood and Olympus Grll, Arnissio Sauvlaki and Pitta bread wrap with chicken and hallomi. Everything was so fresh and homemade, can't recommend enough, DELICIOUS!!
Thank you so much for offering me your downstairs to feed my baby. Though I had some privacy, I should say this too, what a lovely and cozy place it is! Best for private events and make you feel home. £190 for 7 of us including beers, wines, soft drinks and hot chocolates, we would say it was a steal!!

We live in Hastings and won a weekend stay at an Eastbourne hotel so we're wandering round looking for a restaurant for dinner. We came across GR/eat and as we live Greek food thought we would give it a try. What a delight, the welcome was warm and friendly, the atmosphere lovely and the food was awesome!!! THE most authentic Greek food we have had outside of Greece. We have been back for times now and they never disappoint. Can't wait to be able to return after lockdown.

Wasn't expecting to find much in Eastbourne on a Sunday afternoon, but came across this place and was very pleasantly surprised, I had a simple chicken pitta, but it was quite delicious, Partner had Greek salad and some dips. Then we both had coffee and dessert, which were both excellent. Highly recommended, and will certainly return another Sunday! Service was excellent. Price was reasonable too.

For a real Greek experience this is the place to go, the food is outstanding, staff are friendly, attentive, polite and the Fix beer is ice cold🍻 yammas.

Been here a few times - absolutely brilliant. Owners super attentive and made sure we were well looked after. Really enjoyed the outdoor heater and blankets too!

This is a restaurant that gets everything right. The menu is good, the food delicious, the wines very nice and reasonably priced, the service fast and friendly.
We had the Meze, which as well as offering great variety is excellent value. A mention too for the wine list, which is more informative about the wines than many, including giving their alcoholic strength - something I wish was more widely done.

Amazing place to eat! We booked here prior to our Eastbourne visit for a birthday meal! We have had many Greek holidays and the food transported us back to those amazing times away.
We shared the starters of stuffed vine leaves and the three dips with pitta bread, then I had an amazing moussaka and hubby had the king prawn dish. Lovely desserts too! What an amazing place! Staff were lovely. We felt safe during these Covid times with the screens and staff wearing masks.
We would recommend here 100% and will definitely visit again when we return to Eastbourne. Visiting here reminded us how much we miss holidays to Greece!

Booked a meal here on a short stay in Eastbourne. Excellent safety measures in this 'covid' environment - all staff masked and screens between tables. Food was really good, hot & portions quiet large. Attentive & friendly staff. We even ordered Greek red wine, which can sometimes be a risk - but it was good. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and we never felt rushed.

Starters with exceptional flavour and moved onto a Sirloin which I have had before, always tender and as good as you can get in Eastbourne, true value for money. Service always attentive but never intrusive. Never disappointed when we dine here and as always you are made to feel welcome and gr/eat are so focused on you enjoying the night out. Back soon

We usually visit Greek islands to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but due to covid restrictions we went to Eastbourne and decided to have a Greek meal. We were not disappointed. From the moment we entered, thank you for the anniversary plaque and bubbly, the restaurant had the feel of a Greek taverna. The food was excellent and the service first class. The restaurant was clean and covid rules adhered to. Would highly recommend a visit to this taste of little Greece. Thank you for making our anniversary special.

Totally amazing experience. We were looking for something different to eat and we stumbled upon this restaurant. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the foods that they were serving. Food was wonderful, we ended up having a second helping instead of a dessert. Would totally recommend this restaurant, only wish we lived closer so we could visit more often.

What a great place. Transported to Greece as soon as you walk through the door. The owner and staff were amazing and I can imagine having a great fun evening there when Covid allows us all to relax.
