Michelle and Darren work tirelessly in the name of Epilepsy, having set up this small family based charity in Eastbourne. They are there on the end of the phone whenever you need them. Both my daughter, who was a sufferer, and I have called them for help and assurance when things were good and not so good. They also have Facebook pages where information is posted and advice can be found, based on their extensive knowledge and experience of their own. Thank goodness they are there! 🙏 Wonderful people 💜

Michelle and all at Epilepsy Sussex are really supportive. Used them recently as they provided up to date training on Epilepsy and Buccolam for staff which was so appreciated. Highly recommend them!

They are the most wonderful people. A very small local charity who are ultra experienced, knowledgeable and 100% of the money is used to support sufferers and their families. Always there if you need them. 💕

Always very helpful. All problems helped with and all questions answered. If they don't immediately know the solution to something (which is very rare!), then they will find out for you. The facebook group is very good, especially with availability of medicines updates, and with connecting people with other families adjusting to epilepsy diagnosis.

Michelle was amazing, had the most reassuring conversation with her regarding my newly diagnosed son. I honestly didn’t think there was anything out there to support us as a family but I have found this wonderful charity. As I find myself navigating this new life with epilepsy I now have support and I feel less alone, just being able to talk to someone who really understands has been such a huge help.

Michelle was brilliant and helped put mine and my girlfriend’s minds at ease when our daughter got her Epilepsy diagnosis. She is always on the other end of the phone if you need a chat and we cant thank her enough. She also donated a pulse oximeter to us. Thanks again.

I first approached Epilepsy Sussex through Google search as a couple of our carers needed a refresher on bucci, sent an email and got a response rapidly, Michelle has been so lovely, taught our carers stuff they didn't know and our carers gave us feedback how in depth the training was and way better then any other bucci courses they have been on before, overall great expirence and learnt alot. Will be using epilepsy sussex going forward for training. Highly recommend, cant wait to see you again👌

Epilepsy Sussex are fantastic, they are invaluable to people like us! As a family we were lost and didn't know where to look for support and advice when my daughter starting have her seizures at 16 weeks old, but once I found Epilepsy Sussex they gave clear and helpful information and support, also as they are local they know local information, they know the Drs that deal with my daughter and they know important information about changes in the local hospital and care. They are available 24/7 and have a great Facebook page where no question is silly and everyone is within the Sussex area. Support is important when you have a child with special needs and we don't feel quite as alone as we did before!!

I spoke to Shelly Shrieves over the phone and received outstanding service regarding the continuation of my medication. As well as providing very useful information and support she was uniquely kind and empathetic towards my situation and even offered to personally intervene. She is an absolute star and we talked for 45 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. I am so so grateful for her advice. I recommend her to anyone struggling with epilepsy related issues. Thanks again :)

We are so pleased that we approached Epilepsy Sussex, as we have struggled to find training for our team of staff who support adults and children with epilepsy. The training provided was to a very high standard our staff were all very impressed with the video presentations and your first hand knowledge of epilepsy. Thankyou from all at ESBH Crossroads care and we look forward to having you back to do more training.<br>Sharlene
