The pier is closed currently which means that you cannot go onto it. Having said that it still looks impressive and worked make a good photo. There is also a nice walk to take along the sea front and get some bracing fresh air.

The pier is shut, padlocked and impassable. It looks nice though, although it is a lot smaller than Brighton pier

The pier was shut I presume because of Covid, it would however been useful if the numerous websites promoting Eastbourne mentioned that it was shut.
Standing on the beach beside the pier it does look impressive, we hope it opens soon.

Lovely renovated Pier after the fire several years ago had destroyed it, making it in my opinion, better than previously.

Unfortunately the Pier wasn't open but the promenade was fabulous, flat and right next to the beach. Lots of benches if needed and plenty of places to sit and have coffee and cake

I the Eastbourne pier looked really good but due to covid was closed, I do hope it opens soon again so families friends and others can visit once more as it is a lovely part of Eastbourne

Nice old seaside town, great for a day out, lovely beaches, long seafront to walk along or have a coffee and watch the world go by. The town has a modern shopping centre with the usual high street shops.
