Love these old Victorian piers. Just being out over the sea. Weather was poor on our visit and only food and drink outside due to Covid. We would have stayed longer otherwise.

Amazing food at the end of the pier, yes you pay a price for it but the food is certainly worth it

The old pier was glorious to walk along. Lovely views across the water and looking back at Eastbourne. Unfortunately it wasn't open to go inside due to Covid, but the bar was serving take-away beverages. There was also a musician on the pier performing cover songs, singing with a guitar. Definitely worth a stroll along with an ice cream in hand.

Bank Holiday, lots of people, lots going on by the sea side.. fast food and little shops along the sea front. Pleasant busy atmosphere. Was a bit underdressed, so the wind got the best of me while i was waiting for my vegan fish and chips. Lovely day ;)

Gorgeous Victorian pier. Only the bar at the end is open and the chip shop at the front due to Covid but lovely walk down it. Very pretty!

Located on the main beach the 1,000 foot old British Pier built in 1870 offers some vintage features, a few shops, a tea room, and nice views of the typical south coast pebble and shingle beach which is divided by a series of wooden groynes. Plenty of car parking available at a cost of £1 an hour (cash or card payments). Some graffiti under the pier spoils the view somewhat.
Backing the beach is a promenade, lined with grand Victorian hotels and the Floral Carpet garden. A nice place for a costal stroll.
