Clean. The fish and chip place at the entrance to the pier put spring onions and parsley on your meal!

Weather wasn't great, so the walk around the pier was bracing but enjoyable.

Businesses were starting to open up, making the pier appear more dilapidated than I expected. It was disappointing to see sections of the walkway blocked off and large white goods just dumped outside premises. All a bit too casual and spoiling what should be a showpiece for the town.

Sadly a few of the retail premises are empty on the pier but otherwise, it is clean and freshly decorated.

Pretty nice pier but still being refurbished. Imagine it will be brilliant when finished

Great visit this last weekend just gone! They had a load of pop-up market and street food stalls along beside the pier and there was entertainment on it. Classic British day out!

A nice pier with amazing views to the sea and the city. The white, gold and blue makes the building and platform really interesting and it looks breathtaking even from a far away. Shops are a bit overpriced but quality is ok. Entrance for the pier is free, too. Arcade shops were just OK, as some of them weren't working and it's split into three locations. Definitely a must if you visit Eastbourne and generally a nice place for a walk and just watch the sea.

Had a great time with my kids in the arcade. Only complaint was the machines didn't always have the tickets in them

It's a pier with not a lot on it, what else would it be?

Not too bad as a pier but let's be honest it needs a bit of a revamp and more stuff to do.

Eastbourne pier is a beautiful place. Whether it's ice-cream, coffee, fish and chips, sitting and chilling, walking by the sea, eating a burger or having a beer, the pier has something for everyone.

Traditional pier, in good condition in the middle of a well maintained largely original seafront.

Ideal for a relaxed stroll, before watching the waves on the beach with a coffee from the converted phone box just by the entrance.

Lovely place to visit. The weather didn't help with my experience, though I'm sure it'd be bustling on a sunny day

Rather dreary and rainy day to visit Eastbourne but the pier was definitely worth a visit. Wonderful piece of architecture. Walked around it and popped into the Victorian tea house for a cup of tea and cake. Would recommend.

Very traditional, full of little quirky places to entertain and have a nibble. Currently undergoing a bit of a redesign so some parts look like a building site, but overall rather pleasant.
