Eastbourne pier bit of letdown as the pier does not offer anything exciting only a cafe and very small arcade probably still recovering from the covid pandemic.

A quintessential English Pier dating from the 19th Century. The original shops are worn and wobbly which adds to their charm. New buildings are being constructed, perhaps for additional cafes? Ice cream or fish and chips at the Pier entrance to eat at one of the many tables whilst admiring the views toward Hastings or Beachy head. Well worth a visit.

A bit rundown and several shops being done up, suspect they're recovering from Covid. Clearly the 'grey pound' much in evidence here! Overall the actual town and sea front of Eastbourne was a bit of a disappointment.
