A Victorian seaside pavilion at Eastbourne damaged many years ago but restored well worth a visit at any time of the year I enjoyed the views very much.

A good amble along an old pier spoilt by current owner taking out the central wall running along the length of a good portion. It gave some protection from wind and there were seats that were very handy to take a break if not good on the pins.

Dear old Eastbourne pier, lovely walk to end and back, few kiosks, a tea room. Tables and benches to sit down, but not the same since the fire and new owner, it had amusement s then, a few now. Always good for fish and chips and an ice cream.

Eastbourne is a lovely town to visit, whether it be summer or winter. the seaside front is a pleasure to walk along. lots of seating, beautiful flower beds, the pier, bars and cafes, and plenty of space. It has a bit of an old fashioned feel, which is like a breath of fresh air these days.
