Lovely pier the views are great you can see for miles on a clear day up to Beachy Head cliffs and over the sea to Bexhill.
Pier is a nice walk with the rear of the pier having a fab seating area right on the end practically in the sea. Amusements along the pier and at the end will keep the kids entertained but are limited.
Positives - great walk, great views, lovely glass blowing demonstrations and some nice little shops, amusements for the kids.
Negatives - shops are pricey especially the food shops, some amusements didn’t work and there was no one around to help.

Nice peir Great place to visit, lots to see in Eastbourne. Market on the seafront the day I went. Love the palms good walk along seafront and disable access to Beach in spots. Difficult to find a FREE cash point though which annoyed me so get your cash before hand.

The pier is aan ideal place who want to while away some time when the weather is inclement. It has one arm bandits, video machines and the like. If the weather is good you can sit on thepier and look out to sea. During the daytime it frequently is inhabited by youngsters. Though I haven't beenin the evening I assume people go there for the end of the pier show.

I witnessed along with the rest of Eastbourne the great fire on the pier but since being taken over I do love the open space as you walk along the pier and it is good to see family eating and laughing in the picnic tables!

The city is quite small but cozy. The pier is the landmark of the city.It appears on tv commercial and the postcards. The pier offers a great point to get in touch with the sea.We just walked around on the beach.Relaxed a little bit.All the facilities worked very well.I do like Eastbourne so much.It is worthy visiting.
