A truly excellent place to visit. Our 2 grandsons loved the train rides round the park, lovely the playground areas and the maze. All staff were extremely friendly and we had a fun special time. Highly recommend. Thought pricings very reasonable. Cant wait for next April to visit again.

We visited during half term with 4 and 9 year old children who are not really 'into' trains, neither are we, however, we still had an enjoyable time! We rode the train 3 or 4 times and, although it was fairly busy, never had to que for more than a few minutes. The walk round the lake, playgrounds and maze were nice and the whole site seemed well maintained and cared for.

The staff were all nice and friendly too. We didn't eat but did have a couple of coffees which were reasonably priced.

We have visited with a 3,6,9 year old. Paid quite a lot to get in but not much here really. There is a play area which is nothing special and a little worn and dated. We got 1 train ride, a little maze walk and small walk around a lake. The problem is has very limited sheltered seating so it's too cold to stay here very long. The price seems high in comparison to their annual season ticket. I think ok for Kids aged 7/8 or under but my eldest and friends eldest got bored and wanted to go home.... I think somewhere like blackberry farm is much more equipped and much better value. It's only a couple of pound more each to get in there but they have vast play areas, an indoor soft play and indoor seating and sells food and tractor rides and animals for that price. We also stayed for much longer than here so definitely better value for money. I wouldn't bother again.

Lovely setting,5.25 for 1ride bit pricey not a great deal of discount for disabled visitors, ride lasted no more than 2 minsxx.lots of other things for young children to do aswell as train and unlimited ride price more economical.

It was a great few hours out for us, specially enjoyed by our 2.5 year old grandson. He had two rides on the train with his grandad in between rain showers, but thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

We had a snack sat under the shelter as it was raining very hard. The children's meal was quite substantial, my husband enjoyed a jacket potato and I had a toasted sandwich which was cooked to order.

The only problem was lack of shelter due to the rain which I can see as being a problem if there were a lot of visitors. As our trip was late September we were lucky and managed to shelter.

Just a short ride from the caravan site. Our 2 yr old loved it. Make sure you take some 20p's to operate the model railways.

A great day out on a sunny day. Lots for children too enjoy. Nice walks and picnic areas also. They allow food to purchased from other places and also have fishing in the lake if that's something you enjoy. My advise is get the unlimited train rides ticket.

We have just renewed our 4th year of season passes here as we've brought our kids here since they were two as they love it so much. Train ride is fun for them with a very friendly driver and conductor. Play areas are always clean and tidy. Food is always well made and well priced. All round nice day out.

Before paying for a days entry, the annual pass is well worth the money. Plenty to do for the kids as there are four play parks, the food and drink is fairly priced. Highly recommended going on the train.

We visited today (09/10/16) on the way home from an overnighter in Eastbourne. The kids (20 months and 4 yrs) LOVED it....the highlight of their weekend. Loads to do...well equipped playground, a maze, open space....great for picnicing, lake with lovely landscaping, model trains etc....and of course the awesome miniature railway. There is a real feeling that this place is run by enthusiasts (i.e. It's not set up with the sole purpose of extracting money from you). We will definitely return!

Great value for your money. Geared towards the younger child. Lots of different things for keeping the young ones busy. Large play area, nature walk, and of course the steam trains. Not recommended in bad weather as all outdoors. Get the all day unlimited pass you can ride the train as many times as you like. You can even bring your own food. Well worth the visit.

On a lovely day at the end of August, we visited, for the second time, the well-kept Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway and Adventure Park. I am so glad I bought unlimited tickets for the day as my boys just wanted to keep riding the trains.

Naturally, with great weather, it brought out the visitors turning into a busy day but never felt crowded. To accommodate visitors the team prepared a second diesel train, running alongside the steam engine, so you would never wait more than ten minutes for a ride. It made the whole experience especially pleasant.

The adventure play area also kept my little ones entertained for an hour or so before finding a spot to have our picnic.

Even though we were on our feet for several hours, it was quite simply a relaxing day and totally enjoyable.

So clean and tidy too. Good job guys!

I found it a lovely place to visit. We enjoyed the train ride with our 5 year old and 2 years old then a visit tot he model railway shed and a walk around the park. Only comment was that the model trains in the shed needed a dust (cobwebs) that's all.

The kids absolutely loved the miniature steam railway. It is set in a lovely setting and is a family run business. We enjoyed it and had a few rides around the scenic setting. Each ride around was for approximately 6 minutes so it is a good idea to go around a few times to take everything in. Good price for a family ticket for 4 (£18.50).

Well run family business, with polite & helpful staff. The biggest attraction is of course the amazing variety of steam trains & rides, small gauge electric working trains in show cases. As well as a well planned play areas,.It also caters for fishing on a large lake with beautiful walks round the lake.
Altogether a great entertaining day out for families & more reasonable price wise compared to other well known family entertainment parks in Sussex/Surrey.
BEWARE OF SEASONAL CLOSURE TIMES BY CHECKING WED SITE!

We arrived on a weekday just as it was opening and managed two loops of the train ride. There are some miniature train sets that you can pay 20p to watch and, there is also a large outdoor playground.

It was getting very busy when we left at about 1pm.

We took our youngest grandson during the school holiday. He is mad about "choo, choo trains" and we all enjoyed the open trip on the minature steam engine around the lake. We had bought a special ticket so we could do as many rides as we wanted.
Our grandson particularly enjoyed the shed with the fixed railways. You pay 20p a time to watch the engines going round and a step is provided for children to be able to watch easily.
There are set paths for walking around the lake and places to picnic where tables have been set out. There is a play area for children where they can climb, swing and slide. The park is clean and obviously run by steam engine enthusiasts. We had a great afternoon.

this is a must for the children up to the age of 75 years and maybe older like myself at 77 and a steam railway fan it was a good day out apart from the train ride there is a good nature walk with areas every so often to stop and the children can play there is also a maze but this is not either buggy or wheelchair friendly.
there is a café where the seating is outside all in all a great day out,and any fishermen out there there is a large lake to fish
