We visited the park simply because our daughter is mad keen about Thomas the tank engine, and loves animals and we were in the area from the midlands. It's a great little zoo with lots of varieties of small animals and interactive learning for the children.

The Thomas ride was the main reason for a visit, the ride has a good size engine etc, but the ride is short, maybe there should have two types of entrance ticket. The thomas shop was good with a wide range of items.

All the staff are very keen and helpful, and that's a plus point, but the gate price is high, we only had a family of 3 and it made me question the £47.50 cost compared to somewhere like zsl whipsnade.

I've felt compelled to write this as we have recently come back from a near month long trip around Malaysia. We took our 2yr old son to see Crocodiles, Orang-utans, exotic birds, jungle walks etc and all he could say to us was "I want to go to Drusillas!" I think that is the best testimonial anyone could want, he absolutely loves it there and we are on our second annual membership.

It can be pricey to bring friends along who don't have membership but we recently received a "kids go free" voucher which will help a lot. More of those please Drusillas.

Entrance price very expensive two adults and a 3 year old cost £50!!! You can spend the whole day here but would suggest taking your own food, as food is also very expensive. Plenty of animals but my son was not really that intrested more intrested in the play area and the Thomas train.

Even though I'm 21, me and my friends try and have at least one trip to Drusilla's a year when we're back from uni. Being short sighted, being close to the animals is brilliant as this is what makes it harder for me at bigger zoos. The variety of animals and the information provided is simply outstanding.
We always like a good challenge on the Zoolynpics too!
Although we are sadly too big for the amazing play area now we certainly got hours out of it when we were little.
The train ride is always a must as is the maze and a cup of tea and a burger in the cafe. Top place! Best to go on weekdays. Good queuing system.

We live locally to here but never go much as it is very expensive.
The children often visit with the school so I go with them.
The animals are well looked after and the indoor play area is lovely!
Food quite expensive but you can take your own picnic which is great.
Nice day out for younger children, my older kids find it less interesting.

We have visited on slightly cool day but we still had a lovely time. We were very impressed with the variety of some species. We went with kids but us adults got very excited about the attractions too. I found this park extremely neat, clean and a great fun. Perhaps not fair to be comparing to a busy London zoo but I think Drusilla is nicer and more fun. Food wise we were pleased. Generous portions, nice simple dishes like pizza, pasta, jacket potato, lasagne, meat pie. Overall a lovely day. And I must add I am a fussy customer in general, I can complain a lot when I am not pleased but there was nothing to complaint about. We will definitely visit again.

I took my kids here on Friday in half term. Upon arrival the car park was packed but there were stewards to get people parked so no problem. I recommend booking online as its cheaper and you get in the door quicker. My kids have been here several times but its been quite a few years since I have. £42 for the 3 of us (booked online the night before), I think is very reasonable seeing what you get. It's a full day easily. The zoo part is one of the best I've been to, plenty to see and well laid out. You can get quite close to the animals, especially the Lemurs. Even if they aren't out in the enclosure you can still see them. The play ground is impressive with plenty for all ages and enough to keep them occupied for hours. Some have said the food is expensive but I found it quite reasonable. You can take your own if you want to keep costs down. There are plenty of places to sit, amenities are very good and its very clean. Considering the amount of cars there, it didn't feel over crowded inside. The staff were all very friendly and I was highly impressed over all. Will definitely go back again soon. Highly recommended!

We recent;y bought my my daughter a Keeper for the Day Experience and I must say it was fantastic. She had a truly magical day, getting to experince close contact with over 20 different annimals, including penguins, racoons, lemurs and snakes. My daughter felt truly spoilt and enjoyed everyminute of it, even mucking out! The Keeper was brilliant, she had a wonderful approach, was very informative and made it loads of fun for the whole family, we all had a fabulous day.

We visited with a group of friends, for my daughters 8th birthday treat, feeding the Lemurs. What a fantastic day from start to finish. Staff were friendly and very helpful, animals, so well looked after. Lots for the children to do and see on the way round and fantastic play areas too. Food in the café was very good and tasty.. We shall be returning very soon, as we have adopted one of the gorgeous Lemurs !!

Haven't been here for a number of years so I was pleasantly surprised at the number of changes/renovations that have been made recently. Animals and enclosures all look well cared for, staff all very friendly and helpful. Park very clean and well presented. Play area looks fantastic, its a big change from the old play barn I remember from my childhood visits! We unfortunately are too old to make use of the play facilities but we till had a great time. A little pricey but to be expected and on a par with similar attractions of this standard. Thoroughly recommend :)

My experience started before I got to the Park, I had many emails from Angela Hale, this was very comforting and very informative. I had an amazing day at Drusillas Park, it may be aimed for younger children but i'm a big kid and thoroughly enjoyed my 36th birthday, getting the opportunity to feed the penguins was amazing, the young lady who took me through this experience was very welcoming and very professional. All the members of staff were very polite and accomadating. There is not one thing I would have wanted to change about my day, it was a fantastic birthday present. Great value for money. Highly recommend to everyone.

Went with the boyfriend and have to admit that it was so much fun. The staff were friendly and the animals all looked well looked after. The park took about an hour to walk around and luckily we'd gone in the middle of the week so it was quiet which seemed to have an effect on the animals as they all seemed very relaxed! I would say that maybe it is a tad bit expensive but we did have such a good time so I didn't mind that too much. Will definitely be going back!

We spent a wonderful day a Drusillas Park enjoying the Christmas lights and Santa! Drusillas is second to none, when it comes to indoor or outdoor entertainment for the kids. The soft play area is clean and safe and the service is fantastic! All the restaurants provide yummy food for the kids! All the shops are well-supplied and offer many interesting educational and cuddly toys! My daughter loves Drusillas and that's the best reason for me to go back and get a membership!

I visited Drusillas during the Christmas holidays and we had a fantastic time. There is just so much to do and new bits are always being added. The winter wonderland was a great seasonal extra and added a great festive feel.

We probably couldn't have picked a worse day for weather - but this did not spoil our enjoyment of our visit to Drusillas Park.
One advantage of going early in the day was that our 6 year old grandson had a great view all the animals, though we did have to give up walking around the outdoor areas of the zoo as the weather defeated us! Our grandson loves Thomas so we had the opportunity to go on the train as the only passengers on the first trip of the day!
We then treated ourselves to freshly made doughnuts and hot coffee - delicious.[well worth a visit for the doughnuts alone]
We look forward to going back on a sunnier day to be able to enjoy more of the activities.

A great morning or afternoon. Not enough for a whole day. Very well kept, clean and tidy. Kids play area is the best around. So many interactive things for the kids. All the animals are well kept and happy looking. A great place to visit. Well worth getting the membership if you live close enough to use it regularly!

I love the set up here - you walk in and follow a zoo trial round the park. This means you get to see all the animals at a good pace and also makes sure you don't miss a thing.

The animals are so close you get to see them playing and eating. I don't know much about animal welfare but they all looked in good condition and had nice spaces to live and play in.

I loved seeing the many primates and monkeys they had - at London Zoo you didn't get to see any. Here they are all easy to see. It's mostly small animals but highlights were otters, beavers and the small farm with the pigs and cows. Oh and in the Lemur enclosure I got charged by one which made us all laugh.

Other attractions include Thomas Tank Engine ride round the park, a fun little maze and a brilliant indoor and outdoor playground.

Good food and drink in the canteen - including Starbucks Coffee. The food place by the train had delicious doughnuts which helped us to keep warm.

I can't wait to go back

My husband and myself have been members for a year and we also brought our daughter a membership when she turned 2 a couple of months ago.
We usually visit 2-4 times a month and always have an excellent time. Lots of interesting little animals to see with fun interactive features along the way. Daughter loves the indoor and outdoor play areas (especially the trampoline). The only negative is parents not supervising their older children and allowing them to play boisterously in the 'toddler areas'.
I expect we will be members for many years to come.

We went to visit Santa and his snow huskies last weekend, which was a huge delight for my daughter and son ages 2 and 3. There is so much to do and see. I adored the marmosets, they made the children giggle alot. It's nice to educate the children on the way round as their is a wealth of information with regards to the animals. The highlight had to be Santa obviously for this time of year, they both were given cuddly husky toys which they will not part with. Hugely generous and the best gift we have ever been given from a Santa trip, we keep getting asked where we got them and I am only to glad to tell people. My son absolutely loves the Thomas train and my daughter was smitten with the huskies themselves, she would not leave them alone and they were very gentle and patient with her. The staff are very friendly and after an adventurous day exploring with the children my husband and I enjoyed a very nice meal there. Everything is so well priced, so it's not daunting when the children run ahead into the gift shop, I actually picked up a few Christmas presents along the way. We enjoyed our family day immensely and can't wait to re-visit, especially in the Summer months as you can take a picnic and let the children swim,

Instead of a birthday present and party our family clubbed together for our 6 year old to be keeper for the day at Drusillas as she is animal mad. The whole day was such a magical experience both for my daughter and myself. We spent time with a huge range of animals, preparing their food and feeding and cleaning their enclosures. My daughter had meerkats on her lap, lemurs jumping over her head and snakes wrapped round her to name but a few of our amazing experiences. Couldn't rate this highly enough. We will be back!
